New York Mint Coin & Collectibles company severely gouging their customers! Edina Minnesota
Hello, I am writing this report so you all can save some time and possibly thousands of dollars! This company tried to sell me a 1911 Indian Head Quarter eagle in NGC grade MS64 for the price of $3325.00. The market value of this coin according to NGC and as of 4/10/09 is $1780.00. That is a markup of almost 50%!!! Also, they tried to sell me a 2008 gold one ounce buffalo graded MS70 by NGC for the price of $1800.00. That one had me laughing because of the following coincidence: I had purchased the same exact coin, a 2008 buffalo graded MS70 by NGC for $1050.00 only a week before!!! When I explained to the guy on the phone the price I had paid, he said "well, I guess you are not the right customer for our company." HA, then who is?! IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS COIN COLLECTOR, AVOID THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY TO GOUGE THE UNEDUCATED COLLECTOR!!!

I read the complaint about New York Mint.
If someone has an alternative to them and Littleton Coin Company, and PCS Stamp & Coin, please feel free to steer me in the right direction, most of these mail order companies are really high priced.
Thank you
