Complaint Review: Newbridge college

 I was a student at Newport college as a young single mom . I worked hard, had to find babysitting for my child every night I went to this school. I felt the struggle would all pay off as long as I could graduate from Newbridge. You were promised a job after graduation that would pay well and give you a life time of success. If you quit school you would be penalized by having to pay back the loan from where you quit at so if you left mid point you would still be paying what ever tally they came up its to pay off the loan. It was scary but it irked for the school. The people at the school were already for the most part single parents or struggling young families but that was not all the hard working stidents there. I had a older lady driving from San Diego to Santa Ana in my class,even as she was fighting breast cancer she was still going to this school. We belived in it. We had been told the school was accredited .we would have a great job to ,we had to take the state board test to use our certificate.it then changed and the staff told us they were just notified we had to get our state board test within 1year of graduating or the rules would change again on us,we would have to have a four year degree for ultrasound to use our certificate of we didn't hurry up and meet these requirements that was just "sprung upon the staff and us students" All this was crazy to us! We were told when we signed up we were getting a high paying job and certificate after we finished our courses. I tried to go to two different colleges well these changes crept up on us. I couldn't keep up well I was preparing for all the new school changes. I was failing the junior college but I was obligated to did mush the Newbridge courses. I tried to get any jobs with my certificate before all these rules and nothing worked. I eventually got the only job I could find that would hire me,I got a 4d ultrasound job that paid not the $26.00 start pay for ultrasound techs but $10.00 for commercial ,entertainment. Ultrasound becuase no hospital or medical facility would hire us. I then received bill after bills After the graduation and grace period ended and I had to pay back the loan. It was now $17,000.00 of Newbridge debt and no job .it was worse then when I started this school and had no education,no job. I ark east didn't have a huge loan to pay off .
