Newegg Newegg.com Does not honor sale prices, drop-shipper for 3rd party sales Whittier, California

I purchased a total of six items from the Newegg.com site. The items were deeply discounted.After I completed the online forms and paid VIA Paypal I received a confirmation.Six hours later it was cancelled by the drop-shipper!Further investigation proved that Newegg simply allows other companies to list their goods on Newegg's site.Newegg won't make good on the sale price.After the order(s) were cancelled by Newegg, they claim there was not enough stock to fill the order. The item disappears from the internet page and reappears about 10 minutes later at a much higher price! Now they have plenty in stock.
We want Newegg to honor the printed/listed price and to honor the sale for the amount they took as payment in full from my Paypal account.We do not know what "Game" they are playing, but we purchased these items in good faith,paid for them up front. This sure looks like "Bait & Switch" but Newegg has not even offered a similiar item.
Calls to Newegg take up to 1 hour to get answered,Reps on the phone are of no use, have no resolution.Newegg will indeed answer a E-Mail with a robot-generated excuse and no followup.Newegg simply hopes you will just go away.If this is how they handle Sales, you can imagine how they handle returns, broken or missing shipments or failures in electronic goods.We have been faithful customers of Newegg for over 10 years and quite frankly never expected to be treated like this by them.
Hopefully Newegg can make good on this, save their image, retain a long term customer.We are going on day 3 of this and so far Newegg has done absolutely nothing to assist us,despite their postings on their facebook page, in E-Mails and in this report.
If Newegg is going to continue to do this "MarketPlace" kind of drop-shipping, buyer beware.You are totally on your own, Newegg will not back up any of the 3rd parties goods.We urge you to simply look on this page, on Facebook and see for yourself how many people are very upset with Newegg.
They used to be a Fantastic company! Maybe they still are and made some serious mistakes.
If they do make good on this, we promise a followup/update. Lets hope they do not let us down....

Yep..after a few days, they contacted their "Legal" department and came to the decision that they do not have to honor the advertised price, they have the right to falsely list items and withdraw them from the offer.
Newegg has been removed from our list of "Approved Vendors", they have demonstrated they do not care.
A dispute had to be launched with our creditcard company to block them from finishing the transaction because Newegg was holding the funds and planned to hold the funds for one calendar MONTH!!
The transaction occurred on Jan 6 and they planned to return the funds on Feb 4th (were assuming 2013).
Reading on Wikipedia, we learned a LOT about Newegg and the jokers that run the company. We have learned from this lesson and hope others will read their facebook page as well as Wikipedia and here (Ripoffreport) BEFORE subjecting yourself to a lot of wasted time and the experiance we had with dealing with Newegg.
Replacement vendors have been located, the items we needed wre now purchased elsewhere.
