Complaint Review: Newlann Financial Alliance

I applied on line for a loan of $ 80,000 and was contacted by a Gina Snyder. She said that I was Pre-Approved and that I needed to buy Insurance of $ 2500 for the loan. I also had to wire the money using money grams to some guy in Vancouver, Canada, and the money will be in by bank in 24 hours. I got wasn't born yesturday. So, I did my on-line research, and found out about these scam artists. They are good at what they do, but the federal law doesn't allow anybody to take a pre-payment to approve a loan. However, they can charge a application or credit check fee, which is minimal and paid to the company. They list their address in Michigan, but I trace one of their call to New York. They never ran my Credit nor call my employer to varify my income. So, I didn't send them any money and I hope nobody falls for this crap. They are using various names and web sites, so be care full of who you seek for a loan. Usually, they want money wire to Canada, so beware!
