I was contacted in NH when searching for an apartment on Craigslist, by a Belinda Thompson blindat653@gmail.com, saying the property is still available. I was told to register at http://www.newlineequity.com and got suspicious so I looked it up thanks to someone posting Ripoff I found this was fraud and did not give out information. They lure you with false ads, I answered many false ad's on Craigslist, people on a mission in Africa and putting up property pictures, I filled in bad information and was accepted and told where to send the money -- it was a scam the actual owner of the featured property put her own ad up and I answered it. I learned if it's too good a deal to be true, it is just a scam looking for your identity.

Turns out they're an actual company, not a scam. However, they do have poor business practices which earned them a low score on Better Business Bureau. See below:

I signed up 1st week if april and i got the listings. They helped me find homes according to my specifications. Not all foreclosures company is not a scam.I was one of their clients and as of now i am having a nice time with their service. It is only a $40 payment and this is just a one tine fee and i was covered for a month. They guarantee availability to consumers. For me,this is a kind of service that i wanted.I am telling my friends about it and telling them to join since they are doing their job well.

I got in contact with the company much the same way you did. I was skeptical about giving my card over the phone, but they sold me. They sent me my listings and all the documentations, and i'm currently searching for a home. No subsequent charges to my credit card occurred, and i'm pretty sure the merchant processing was done in America. I'd suggest you be serious about getting into a home before registering with any foreclosure company, but there are plenty of other companies that provide the same service and charge 200
