Newport Beach Cosmetics Bellavani.com I was sold a product that only advertised the low $4.95 shipping fee for the trial samples. The $130 per ounce price of the cream and automatic renewal was in the fine print of the terms. Laguna Hills California
I ordered the Bellavani facial cream from Newport Beach Cosmetics based on the advertised $4.95 shipping fee. That was all that was mentioned in the ad. In the fine print of the agreement, the outrageous charges of $130 per ounce of cream are clearly explained in the fouth paragraph. I should have read and understood the terms, but I failed to do so. As I explained to the telemarketer that I spoke to, if you honestly believe that your cream is worth $130 an ounce, why don't you advertise that price clearly in the wording of the advertisement, and not have it buried in the terms of the agreement? You obviously believe that the product can not be marketed at that price, and so, must rely on terms buried in the fine print to hook customers into having their bank accounts siphoned for the product. Get this, they charge separate $4.85 shipping fees for each product alhtough they are shipped in the same box. I recorded the conversation with her knowledge if anyone is interested. In fairness to them, she did agree to stop further shipments and refund $98 of the $345.84 bill for 3 ounces of product. That brings my final charge to $82.61 per ounce.

I just received this:
Dear Stephen,
Your transaction for Bella Eye Cream has been refunded in the amount of $48.69 to your card ending in 9689. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to process and settle to your account.
If you have any order related inquiries, please email us at info@bellavani.com
So, I guess I "misunderstood" again. I didn't receive a $98 refund, but a $48 refund. So the price of the product is $99.28 per ounce.
