Contacted Nexgrill for warranty on grates on gas grill, 10 months old sold as stainless steel grates but had already rusted and coating was peeling off creating a dangerous situation if ingested. Stainless steel does not rust, they are ripping people off by selling a product they say is stainless but is not. To top it off I have been waiting four months for the replacement grates, coming from china, could have gone to the moon and back 50 times by now. Nexgrill does not back up their chinese made products! Also Homedepot does not give a flip about helping when it comes to warranties. Buyer beware, home depot says to check the warranty first, (the warranty is in the box) Jerked around by nexgrill and homedepot!

Do you realize that NO RETAILER either has direct control OR even ANY control over a warrenty? YOUR issue is with the company that made the item. If its made overseas then there is a GREAT chance that THEY dont have to give you ANY warrenty!! The manufacturer warrenty is ONLY for quality of the BUILD and NOT the individual parts. If YOU did not purchase a warrenty FROM HD then there is very little that HD can OR will do for YOU!! And to assume that ANYONE is going to know WHAT is going to happen to a product IN THE FUTURE is just YOU being a bit of a DCK!!! Home Depot DOES NOT have some futuristic testing grounds that they can run a bunch of grills on. HD has a BUYER!!! That buyer looks at what is presented to THEM much as YOU would and goes with the best buy. Just as YOU DID!! So to try and hold HD responsible is WRONG!!!! THEY could NOT know that would happen to YOUR grill. So STOP trying to place the blame on THEM!!!! Its the manufacturer that YOU MUST DEAL WITH!!! Maybe next time YOU are offered an extended warrenty YOU might want to BUY IT!!!! I dont care what Consumer Electronics has said about warrenties. THEY ARE WORTH PURCHASING!!!
