Complaint Review: Nexo.io

Nexo.io During the fallout from the Feb 2021 Kraken "Flash Crash" of ETH, Nexo misappropriated over $2000 of my funds. Despite multiple attempts to get the matter resolved, over the last 8+ months, I have only been put off, and lied to by their incompetent customer service systems.

On Feb 22, 2021 ,during the Kraken Flash crash, $2258.73 USDC Was "sold", by Nexo's system, and I received a notice of an automatic loan repayment of $2236.91.  They also liquideated my entire ETH position. Shortly there after the "crash" resolved itself, and they restored my ETH position, but my loan balance did not go down, and the USDC was not restored to my account. I attempted through both Email and their "live chat" system to alert them to the fact that they did not handle the "automatic payment" properly, and just wanted to have the amount properly credited to my outstanding loan.

They twice attemped to close the issue without giving me an answer, and when I pushed back, they said "we are working on it, and will get back with you as soon as possible". The last auto response email said someone would reply within 4 days.  That was nearly 2 weeks ago, and I have heard nothing.
I have moved all the assets I could from Nexo. I did not pay the loan off fully, leaving a balance near the value they should have credited over 8 months ago.

This meant that I was unable to take nearly $3000 from the account so Nexo could hold it as loan colateral in a nonperforming asset (USDC). This situation has deprived me of gains I could have gotten had I had acces to the assets misapropriated by Nexo.

The inability of Nexo to correct a simple mistake has turned into criminal neglegance, and substancial real damage to my personal finances.
