We recieved a letter in the mail that semmed very strange. The letter was on lined, yellow paper, and was writen in red ink. The letter had no company name and just stated that if we were interested in selling our house tocall the number or send an email.

After putting the number and email into google, we found that number one, it is a real company, and number two, the company is nextage realestate.

Completey confused, we tried to call the number provided in the letter. The number lead to a voice mail which again, gave no company name at all and seemed more like a cell phone more than a business phone.

We then tried the email and asked why they would think we would want to sell our property. The only response we got back was "well are you?".

They may havea website and some properties here and there, but they definetly seem like a fly by night operation. Even if I was interested in selling my house, I would steer far clear of this outfit.

I understand your frustration with companies like this.  I know how frustrating it can be but I can tell you that I have had several problems with other agents that are with different companies.  Allcompanies including Coldwell Banker and Remax have issues wth agents as well.  Agents work for themselves and do not have to report to the broker.  They pay to hang their license with these companies and they make strickly commission.  They work on their own and do their own marketing.  You may have just gotten a bad agent.   All real estate companies are francjhised including Remax, Coldwell Banker, Century 21 and Nextage.  It is unfair to clump all of the Nextage offices together just because you had a bad experience at one office in Massachusetts.  I can assure you that the office in Orlando does not run this way.  It is like saying you had a bad experience at McDonalds when they are all idividually owned as well.  Not all offices are the same.

Vision Realty, Not Nextage Realty

As we were notified of this complaint, Nextage Realty International, LLC was eager to determine the exact details of what transpired and to resolve this issue with appropriate action.

Our findings revealed that the individual who sent this letter to the homeowner is licensed in the state of Massachusetts with Vision Realty, not Nextage Realty.

Nextage Realty International, LLC is a real estate franchisor, and each of its franchised offices is independently owned and operated.  Currently, we have no Nextage affiliated office in the state of Massachusetts.  The phone number on the reported letter was misappropriated to a team-building website operated by the individual in question.  The phone number has now been corrected.

We certainly agree that any rude and unprofessional behavior received by the caller when responding to the letter about selling his/her home is inappropriate.  At Nextage Realty we pride ourselves on QSPA™, Quality Service by Professional Agents.  We are a consumer-centric company whose top priority is providing exceptional service to our customers.
