I had my NextCard credit card stolen, and when I called to report it, they wouldn't accept this explanation. I tried paying them with what I could pay, but this was unacceptable, even though I was paying for what someone else did.

They would call me 5-6 times a day, beginning as early as 7 am, and ending as late as midnight. They even called on holidays and weekends, including Christmas Day. When I explained the situation to them, they would comment that they were making a note in the computer, yet they would call again an hour or so later!

When I decided to go through Consumer Credit Counseling, they refused to negotiate. They continue to charge about $60 a month to the account, even though it's closed and being settled. When I've heard from them by telephone, I've been threatened and harrassed, and one customer service rep even cussed at me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she simply demanded that I send the payment and then hung up on me.

This company has NO BUSINESS offering credit card services, and I feel like I should be credited for what was stolen, as well as the harrassment I've received from them. Not to mention their piss poor customer service and policies. They continue to raise the interest rate and late fees on the balance, even though they are aware the card was stolen, and it continues to affect my credit.

They should NOT be in business!!!!!
