I regret purchasing 5 units at a store in Colorado Springs. They lied to us and the Nextel Company that the contract is through does not assume responsibility for those who set up the contracts for them. Don't believe the sales people at the stores. We set up 5 phones personally and we were told that once our company was in business 6 months and all bills were kept current they could be transferred into the company name.

Later, we called Nextel to have this done and they stated it could not be done ever without a $2,500.00 deposit. We continued to speak to customer service (so called) reps and even the Vise President I am told. After finding this out we wanted to cancel some phones due to the deceptive sales people. That could not be done without paying $200.00 per phone. This went on for months and months and months. Many hours of wasted time.

We were also told we could upgrade our phone service without a new contract being established later, considering my boss use is extremely high. We did and they said another year added. Later I spoke with one of them regarding another issue and they said it had been increased two years. Don't believe them when signing up for different services.

He also added insurance because he works in construction. They added it to all phones (per phone charge) without telling us.

I also reacted my phone recently after figuring out how to put it on stand by. I was told would count towards my contrat as long as we didn't shut it off. That was a lie.

Now that my phone is on, I repeatedly get those annoying messages sent to me all day long. Why my boss doesn't I don't know. I called to find out how to shut off and why I was being charged. She said I couldn't shut it of and that I would not be credited any charges.

I worked with Nextel in a previous business and had many problems and spent to many hours on the phone with them. At that time the problems would eventually get resolved. Now a 1 1/2 years later a new problem just keeps popping up and the old ones never get resolved or if they do, it is not without getting completely frustrated and exhasted and ruining your entire day.

Please beware and if you don't need Nextel or if you don't have the numerous amount of money it takes to keep this service don't get it.

Oh, don't let them get you on this one either. I was told that when I reactivated my phone I still had 6 months to go. Fine I'm tired of arguing these facts. I want to be on same plan and just finish out my contract. No problem but that plan doesn't exist. Well, I just want to finish out my contract and because your plans changed isn't my fault. Comparable plan and it will just finish plan. Ok. 3 months later called to transfer phones again, and found out they extended my plan for over another year. Argue and argue. Instead of October now it is Jan. Conf No. See if that is true in a couple of months.

Stay as far away from a company who holds no one accountable for there actions, words, and so on. Decite, Decite, Decite.
