NH Images Photography and Video out of Nashua, NH is an unamerican who is money hungry.  Myself and my fiance were supposed to get married Oct 2010 and had booked Peter from NH Images to photograph our wedding.  Until I got orders to deploy over to the middle east and am not able to be back in time for my wedding.  So after notifying all of my vendors, almost all were understanding of my stringent circumstance and refunded our deposits.  Except for Peter he said he was unable to do so 10 months before the wedding.  So for all those couples be careful when choosing this guy as your photographer he is very money hungry and does nothing to support the troops and true patriot.

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, January 20, 2010

My name is Peter Clayman and I am the owner of NH Images Photography & Video.  My company started nearly 12 years ago and we have collectively done over 500 weddings.  We have a flawless reputation and have worked hard over the years to provide the best possible pictures and experience possible.  My company is active in the community and has donated time and products to the Autism Society, Nashua Symphony Orchestra and more.

My accuser is completely out of line with his comments and I am here to provide my side of the story.

Jose & Erin signed a legal contract back on October 28, 2009 for retaining our wedding photography services.  The total contract value was $1749.00  We normally require 50% down, however we worked with the couple and set up a monthly payment plan.  When they canceled the contract they were still over $300 away from reaching 50% of the amount which is required. Within the terms and conditions of the contract it states that the deposit is non refundable under any circumstances.

When the couple contacted me to cancel I said to them that although we don't refund money due to the terms and conditions we will provide you a $500 (which is what they had paid up until that point) credit toward any service in the future.  Not only that I told Erin specifically that we will not come after them for the remaining $300 plus dollars to equal the 50%.  One top of all of that I said that we will do a photo shoot before Jose leaves for Iraq free of charge and separate from the $500 credit that we offered.

So we have gone well above and beyond what we legally and ethically had to do.  My family has a military background and to say that we are money hungry is incorrect.  We run a business and do everything by the books.  They signed a contract and part of signing a contract is that you acknowledge the terms and conditions.  The reality of the situation is that are not the only company that has this policy.  They hired a DJ service that did not refund the deposit.

I told Jose that we are proud of the contributions and sacrifices that he has done and will do for our country.  The sad part of this is that he is trying to use his military deployment as a way to hurt our company for no reason.  We have not done anything wrong and we have tried to work with them.

Sincerely,

Peter Clayman
