I received a mailing from this company offering to see if the loan on my house could be modified. I called the number and spoke with Tony Barton. After hearing about the audits they did and with the hope of getting my loan modified I decided to start the process. I was told the payments would be $1500 a month for four months. I was told I only had to pay $1500  and the audits would be conducted. If they did not show any problems then I would be refunded the $1500. Not surprisingly I was later contacted and told the securitization and forensic audits had problems. I proceeded. I was told I would be able get all the payments I had made on the mortgage would be refunded due to the audit results. I was also told there would be a $500 per month "retainer fee"  required until the case was file in court.  I did not know when I signed the contract but the cost was $7500 instead of the $6000. I called and complained about the bait and switch to no avail. I made two $500 payments for the "retainer fee" when suddenly all emails and phone calls went unanswered. I file a complaint with the California Attorney Generals Office and only received a form letter back basically saying there was nothing they could do. I have been told by two real estate lawyers that both of the audits are basically worthless.  The forensic audit should have been done within three years of the loan origination to be valid and California judges don't rule i favor of the Title and Note being split. NHC should have known this. I can't sue for the loss because I would have to file in the local court in Glendale and the cost would not be worthwhile. I think NHC knows this too.

This company is a scam and should be shut down and prosecuted. I was told to not respond to the mortgage holders contacts. This is very dangerous advice.

If you get mail or a phone call from this company AVOID THEM!!!!! They are crooks
