NHCD aka Flutternet and the Vitamin shelf is a morally reprehensible company. If you were employed with them (as I was) and they are still taking money out of your checking account every month for the long distance service they require you to use when calling the people they say are expecting your call but never are, then this is what you must do to get them to stop:

1. Write a letter requesting them to discontinue the service. Then *VERY IMPORTANT* send it via registered mail. Then they know that you know they got the letter. Otherwise, they claim that they never received it and will continue with the monthly charges. Send the letter to:
NHCD
Attn: Telecommunications Dept.
6520 W. 110th Street Suite 202
Overland Park, KS 66210
Be sure to include your employee ID, your full name and address and the telephone number associated with the service.

2. The next thing to do is open a complaint with the BBB of Greater Kansas City. Request a full refund for each month that you were drafted. This will result in a proposed resolution of NHCD issuing a refund. The BBB will give you a certain amount of time to agree with the resolution. Be sure that you do not allow them to close the case until you receive your refund. I am still waiting after one month.

The BBB is not on your side. They are a for profit company paid by their members. You must be aggressive and do not give up. NHCD should not be able to get away with their vile practices.

My fiancee used to work for them. And I completely agree they are a rip off. I was given the suggestion of either filinf with e commerce and even the fcc because they do have a small department dealing with the internet. Do not let these federal organizations just brush you off because they will if you let them. Also you should not have to pay to work. My fiancee has found a reputable company to work for that does not require any kind of money to work. They only othe way to keep them from with drawing from your account is to one, notify your bank or two close account and open another one.
