I had a call from the NHCD people and was offered a job. I was told that the jobs would not be cold calling sales.

Well I found out on my first call that it was cold calling sales. Also I am in the eastern time zone, and the auto dialer was dialing people on the west coast at 9sm eastern time. To say the least they would not happy to receive I call that early in the morning.

I was charged a 29.95 fee and was told that it would be returned after 10 hours of work. I was also told first that I would recieve 75 for every sale. Than it was 6.00 for every lead.

After I turned in around 10 actual leads they stated that my leads where under review and i would not get paid until they looked into the leads. They then state that I would have all these leads taken out of my pay.

I need to work at home because my husband has MS and I told them when I first stated to work for them. How can they sleep at night knowing what they did to me with all that I am dealing with, having a husband that is disabled.

I emailed them time after time and never recieved a response back from them. What a rip off. Please don't get scamed like I did. Take the time to check out a company before you give them money or start working for them.

Don't let NHCD Turn you Away from Working at Home

Doris,

Unfortunately, your story's been repeated on this site too many times. Because NHCD is usually one of the first WAH jobs people come in contact with, they leave the work from home world with a very sour stomach thinking scams are all that's out there. NOT TRUE!!!!!!

Let me direct you to two websites that will definately help you find legitimate work from home opportunities. www.wahm.com and www.workplacelikehome.com. Both have great message boards where you can ask questions and find lists of legitimate work from home opportunities.

Also, remember the cardinal rule for working at home: DON'T PAY TO WORK!!!!!!! If you're looking for a business opportunity--that's different--but check them out first on wahm and investigate whether others have dealt with the company you're looking at.

Good luck!!
