It all started in February of 2006, where the same thing happened to me as did many others. I went in for the interview, in desperate need of a job. The interview was unspecific and quick, and they asked me back on the spot. I was confused... and excited at the same time, they all seemed so nice, yet the office was under decorated for a normal office setting, but they explained that they were new to the area. I didnt know at that time that new to the area meant that they came here three or four months before...
So i came back for the "second interview" which had twelve people shoved into a room with a dry erase board and two men coming in and out while keeping conversation rolling. They kept us there for two hours, and preached that this was a huge business that mainly dealt with wholesale distribution to large department stores such as bon ton, ect. What a line of s**t that was!!! !!! ! ! !
A few days of that "paid training" bulls**t that we didnt get paid for, and they sent us out to do more training. This was called goin merching. It was basically hustling "rendition" perfume and cologne on the streets going business to business. We bassically talked people into buying this s**t from us regardless of why they couldnt. we made them find a way to buy it.
The only reason my partner and i lasted as long as we did in this business was because we were good at hustling the stuff by actin cute and talkin all the boys into buying stuff, we made it fun. But when looking at the whole picture, we made no money, had no benefits, and fell deeper and deeper in the hole.
They would build us up, and then say stuff like " your just not motivated, if you were motivated youd be selling stuff" " get motivated" , i dont know about you, but i call working 90 hours a week just so you can make 100$ is a little rediculous. out of town for days upon days, week after week, and when your in town you have goals to hit so your out every night till the next day, working every last open business possible.
But thats not even where the lies end. not only are all the broken promises in the other stories true but so many more. In our office, Dan Chasin had to " leave to go back to phenox and then the next day he was just gone. no real explination, then our office stopped recruiting new people. and my partner and i were the only ones left. we of course got sick of it and decided that we did not want to lie for a living, that it was bulls**t and not worth our time anylonger, we had both fell far too behind on our bills and Jeremy owed each of us a significant amount of money. so we both quit
WIthin a two weeks, the office was shutting down, yet we were still in contact with Jeremy cause he owed us the money. lie after lie, we still helped him out. Then i dropped him off at his apt. and it was empty, he gave me the excuse that he sold his couch and stuff cause he bled on it... BLED ON IT??? yea ok.... he told my other friend that the IRS came and took it all. and that he was going to Minisota to help that office, he was gone for a week and his phone and Dan Chasins phone were both disconnected.... Two scam artists on the run.... watch out.....
**** and thats only half the s**t, i was there for five months with not one promise kept, NOT ONE! no bonus, no crew, no nothing

Just a follow up on my original report filed. So a several weeks had gone by with no word from either jeremy or dan. Jeremy still owed my a couple hundred dollars that he hadnt given me when he decided to skip town the first time. However what really surprised me was that he was stupid enough to come back to buffalo to "party". He had contacted some accociates of mine to come meet him down town and have a couple drinks with them because he was under the impression that they believed his lies. As soon as word got around of where he was at and the phone number that he was using for the night, i imediately called him. I was hoping that he would repay me the borrowed money he still had of mine but instead he gave me yet another sob story of how he had to leave because his mother had died in a strange boating accident. which was quite different from every other story that he has told to cover his tracks. So at this point his mother is dead, his father and sister both dead in a car accident, and no real trail to the truth... needless to say he refused to pay up, he said told other people that he recieved a large inheritance and was going to go boating around the world. (yea my thoughts exactly, why would someone whos mother died, who recieved all the inheritance and had these large plans to boat around the world. come back to buffalo to see the people he screwed over) It baffles me.... So i just wanted to give a little heads up. These men are obviously demented. Its as if they seek pleasure out of ruining lives and getting away with it. Thats what their lives are all about. Its basically our job to be aware and not let them continue to do it. I even remember while i was working there, people would bring in these articles in and confront them, Dan and jeremy would have some reason to explain why the people writing about the shady company and how big of a scam this was were not being honest. well i am. I wouldnt waste my time lying like they do. I dont benefit from this at all, i lost my time, i lost my money, all their is to gain is to help people from making the same mistake as I did by telling my story.

I did this for 4 days before I walked in and flat out said "I'm Done". They make it sound as if it is going to be work with department stores and big, existing accounts. But instead, it was going into Batavia and Brockport going into every business around and trying to peddle "rendition" cologne.
Very unprofessional, a lot of F-bombs flying around from Jeremy and Dan. They tried to run the office like it was a football team, with stupid ideas like "Get loud and excited about going out and selling" and "If you aren't selling anything, you aren't putting in enough effort."
I worry and check my credit information because of my experience, and reccomend anyone who worked there watch your information as well.
