I was recommended to use this company. First, they are Russian and very hard to understand as they have thick accents.

Four movers, one of which was in "charge". He has me sit down to sign a bunch of paper work while also telling me how much it will be to wrap my furniture. I told him to tell me in $15 increments how much I was adding to my minimum total of $380 as I didn't want to be hit with a surprise. I was only moving 2.8 miles away and could take stuff on my own instead of paying a ton more to wrap it. So, I begin reading the paperwork. They want you to sign in regards to a special pamphlet they were supposed to provide you and also about the unload process and how well they did and if everything was okay. Just be careful and READ it. I left most of it unsigned and told him this is supposed to be done at the end. He also had no clue what was in the document and couldn't answer any questions pertaining. They pretend to not understand you but you know they do. They speak in Russian the entire time but each single one slipped a few times and answered me questions effortlessly.

The move out went well until we get outside and they are ready to follow me to my new apartment. He asks how I will pay, "cash, yes?" I said "No, by credit card just as I was told on the phone, that I can pay cash or credit card". He goes "What about half/half, my boss prefers this." Basically he wanted cash and he did all he could to get that. NOTE: I had 2.5 hours for the minimum move of a small apartment, going only 2.8 miles away. So I'm sitting here discussing my payment and wasting time. I tell him I'm paying by credit card unless you want to give me a special discount for going all the way to the bank and paying by cash. I told him payment isn't discussed until the job is done and what does it matter? He realized he wasn't getting anywhere with me and left it as after I said you'll be getting your tip in cash and just hearing the word tip made him agree to finally get in his truck and move.

We get to my apartment, 3 sets of steps and no elevator so I know it's not the easiest move. Yet with 4 people it shouldn't have been taking so long. I go outside and see the head guy chatting on the phone doing nothing. I tell him if the phone call isn't about my move then to hurry up as i'm paying for this time. Finally with all my stuff inside, I look at the clock. We started at 5:20 PM as written in our documents that I signed off on. It was now 7:43. He tells me I went over the allotted time. Then he gets on the phone with his boss and speaks Russian. I show him the simple math, I had almost 10 minutes to spare. He then tells me I spent $40 on wrapping materials. At this point I just wanted them out of my house so I gave over my credit card and I signed off the rest of the documents regarding the drop off.

They continued to sit, waiting for their tip. I told them I will follow them outside to the truck. He goes oh, you want to see the truck? I said yes of course. I go outside and they don't follow. 3 minutes later as I'm staring into the truck at what looks like my 2nd TV and realizing I never saw it put upstairs. He goes "oh yes, your TV ma'm, company policy that it goes last. After you pay, after all is inside you get TV". OH REALLY?! Because if I gave you your tip inside after my payment and you left on your own, you would have left KNOWINGLY with my TV. At this point I'm not sure why I forked over the $100 tip. He was pissed because I told him to get off the phone, I understand that BUT I am paying for your services with the factor of time. Nothing that doesn't relate to MY services shouldn't be done within that period I'm paying for.

I wouldn't recommend these movers and regret giving them any tip with how it turned out. Its unfortunate as the people working with him seemed very kind and they were hard working. You know they also knew the TV was in the truck though and told not to move it so, it's hard to really say if any of them have good character/morals.
