Nicholle McClelland bought a wedding dress from me on eBay. The auction clearly stated that the gown was an order, and would be provided to the winner within 30 days per ebay rules. THIS GIRL IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE, AND I FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE THAT DEALS WITH HER.
Nicholle won the dress for $700.00, then insisted that she receive the dress the next day! I bent over backward to provide this dress to her in less than 3 days.
Long story short, Nicholle gets the dress, and three weeks later, emails me and tells me she doesn't like it. The auction stated NO REFUNDS! I even informed ebayers to use proper body measurements because wedding gowns run small.
After I tell her once again that there are NO REFUNDS, I don't hear from her for months. She bought the dress in April. In late August, I come home from work to find a box on my doorstep. The address is some shipping mailbox company in Colorado. I open the box to find Nicholle's dress inside...worn, filthy, altered, tags removed. It's a total mess. So, I contact my bank and they tell me to mark the box refused, and send it back.
It was quite obvious by the extensive alterations made to the dress that Nicholle was much, much bigger than the size 10 dress she won. How is it my fault that she is delusional about her dress size?!
A few weeks later, I receive an email from eBay, banning me from auctions because she raised such a stink. She posted my personal contact information ALL OVER THE INTERNET. I had to change my phone number because I was getting pro-Nicholle calls at all hours. (She posted to some bride-to-be newsgroups).
To add insult to injury, I receive an email from PayPal, confirming that they are reversing the $700.00 against my account.
So, when it all comes down to it, NICHOLLE MCCLELLAND of Denver, Colorado got a free wedding dress, used and abused it, got her money back, and got to keep the dress too.
Nicholle McClelland is a rip off artist!!!! Don't sell to her no matter what, beacause you're just asking for trouble.

I recently found these posts on wedding websites. Its interesting that Michelle and Steve Studebaker are up to their old tricks, ripping off brides and leaving them with tarnished memories of their wedding day. Good luck to anyone who tries to take these con artists down.
For the record, I, Nicholle McClelland followed all the rules and guidelines set forward by ebay, Visa, PayPal, the BBB, and state and federal authorities. I returned the dress to the Michelle and Steve Studebaker via Visa Card as requested by PayPal and Visa. The Studebaker's portrayal of the events surrounding the dress were false.
As you can tell from various posts below the circumstances in my case seem to be Michelle and Steve Studebaker's-of Studebaker Enterprises--modus operandi.

OMG!! Thank God I found you!!! I got married last year and bought a dress from her and 3 weeks before my wedding my dress was still not here and she refused to return my calls or my e-mails... I ended up calling my bank and they gave me back my money, so thankfully I was able to get my money back... I bought another dress and then she called my house when I was on my honeymoon asking when I would like to have my dress delivered... I assume they contacted her from my bank and she called then... I did not take any legal approach because I decided to leave it alone... I was having anxiety attacks and all when I saw that my dress was not here and that I was getting married in less than 3 weeks... I cannot believe I found this after a year... I agree with the last girl who wrote we have to give this thief what she deserves. How dare she continue to work with brides after she almost ruined so many of our wedding days.....

Thank you all so much for writing in. I was unable to get my money back because I wrote her a personal check. Even though it is almost a year later I still really want to pursue this, not nly for what she put me through, but for the $900 she owes me!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will let you know any info I get, please keep doing the same. I can't let her do this to anyone else. Thanks!!

Excuse me, ma'am, but your comments are in relation to a situation that occured over 3 years ago. This company has been in the control of another firm for over 2 years. Posting the personal contact information of individuals is a breach of the Federal Privacy Act. For this reason, YOUR personal contact information was not posted. In regard to a "Federal Investigation" or "Attorney General's Investigation", there is not and never has been any such action taken. When looking into the records surrounding this case, one can see clearly that the item in question was never returned. According to Visa/Mastercard regulations, items for which you have received a refund must be returned to the original seller within a reasonable time frame from the original date of purchase. No such record of return exists.
Furthermore, in regard to your comments about Ebay, PayPal, and the Attorney General Supporting your case, you are sadly mistaken. In the Terms of Service set forth by both Ebay Inc and PayPal, they clearly state that they do not take sides in buyer/seller disputes. There is no supporting documentation regarding the Attorney General in this case as well.

fraudulently entered into a contract with me concerning a faulty wedding dress that did not arrive as it was advertised. Colorado's Attorney General, Idaho's Attorney General, Visa, Ebay and PayPal all support my conviction and have investigated Studebaker Enterprises for breach of contract and violation of Consumer Protection Acts, among other business, legal and ethical violations. Ebay and PayPal have cancelled Studebaker Enterprises accounts directly due to bad business behavior and dishonesty. Unfortunately, the behavior continues to this day, and Studebaker Enterprises comments on Ripoffreport.com are categorically incorrect and constitute libel and defamation of character. Please remove them immediately.
