Nick representing himself from the company AAG APPRAISAL GROUP contacted me as a photographer to do an urgent Easter day photo shoot of a vacant house in Foster City (South of San Francisco). We agreed on a price over the phone and he said he would pay me thru Paypal. The location was a one hour away drive for me and on Easter. I had plans and broke them for this job. A lady showed up at the property and let me in the house when I arrived that I assumed was the owner. He specifically wanted me to say that I was there representing AAG Valuations for the photography work. House was run down with repairs that needed to be done and I was told to photograph all what I saw along with specific places in and around the house.

When I finished he said he would paypal. Couple days later he says on the phone he's been real busy and will get it later that day. Nothing. Now he's not responding to texts and phone calls. Have re-sent the paypal email to his company email. Still nothing. 1 week later I did get him to answer the phone calling from a different number and he said he was on an important call and would call right back. Never did. If you call his company phone no one ever picks up, just a recording saying they are either on the other line or away. They are advertised as being open everyday with long hours, yet they or he never picks up.

His real full name is Nickolas James St. George.  His middle name is James so he uses Nick James as an alias.  A State of California investigator has been asking questions so Nick took his website down. After conversing with the Investigator here is what I learned;   Having appraisers take pictures is a common task Nick requests appraisers to do.  According to the investigator using someone else’s name and license number is also common place.  Did you speak with the woman at the house since Easter?   Did he charge the homeowner for an appraisal and she never received it?    Or, did she get the appraisal report but it has YOUR name and license on it? (not sure if you’re an appraiser or not).  You should contact the investigator at the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA)  (916) 322 4211 and tell your story.   In addition, try to see what was given to the homeowner.  At the very least you are a victim of theft of services and you should contact the local police. If the woman paid for an appraisal and received nothing or got a bogus report she is also a victim.  BREA has all his details for a police report.  It appears the Rip Off Report website has the following names associated with him:  Nick James, Nick St George, AAG Valuations, Nick Saparillis.   If anyone reading this is a victim please contact the BREA investigator directly at (916) 322 4211.

Will he stop?  No, No, No, I think he is just getting worse as the years go on.
