Nick Mayer Lincoln Nick Mayer Lincoln Refi Rip Off to the Max Westlake, Ohio
I received a call the week before Christmas 12/22/11 about 10am stating they wanted to refinance my existing vehicle which is a 2006 Mercury Mariner. I told **** ********* (sales man) that I was not interested and I was denied previously due to the mileage on my vehicle. Well after talking with him I went in to do the refinance process, I had to bring my 5 yr old son with me and had to be to work at noon. I got to the dealership and of course they refinanced my vehicle so I thought. I owed $4,073.00 to pay it off and come to find out they wrote up my refinance as a new purchase & charged me $6200.00 on my existing vehicle, registration fee of $38.50, documentary fee of $250, power train warranty $1150.00 & other charges & amounts paid on my behalf of $1443.50 so now I am paying $8232.50 on my $4073.00 existing vehicle. When I called today I talked with **** in the finance department and he told me that he was just the finance guy and he know nothing about the deal. These men are crooks and I am meeting with my attorney as well, I am a single mom of a 5 yr old little boy and live by myself raising him with no support from his father. These men should be ashamed of themselves, not to mention I was in the dealership for 3 hrs and late for work that day.

Was it a surprise to "discover" the price increase? You were presented with a contract to sign, right? Did you read that contract BEFORE you signed it? If those figures were not to your liking, then why did you agree to it? You can get any lawyer you want but if they have a contract with your signature on it then you have no case!
