Complaint Review: Nick Parsons Genesis MediaLabs

Same story as most White Van Scams. My boyfriend was working on his car when a man in a white newer Ford told him he was selling extra home theatres from his company for "pocket money". so, my boyfriend asked if we should do it, $300 for a $2400 system sounded great, but too good to be true.

So I said I didn't know, I don't know much about electronics. So the guy showed me a magazine with the same system for $2400. I told my boyfriend if he thought it was a good deal to do it. So we wrote a check out for $300. His name Nick Parsons.

As soon we got in I looked it up & came across all these websites talking about the Genesis White Van Scam. So we tried to cancel the check but he already cashed it.
My boyfriend is trying to set it up in hopes it's not completely useless.
