I purchased through B&H online a Nikon Digital D70 w/18-70mm lens and 1GB card with rebate of $200.00 - A Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 G-AF lens with rebate of $50.00 - A Nikon SB-800 AF TTL Speedlight with rebate of 25.00 - A total rebate amount of $275.00 due back to me.

I sent all required itmes, copy of Bill-of-Sale, Serial number and bar code cut from side panel of product boxes. This was sent by Certified Mail Article Number 7004-1350-0005-3761-0042 and was received by Don Jagoda Associated 100 Marcus Drive Melville, NY 11747 on 4/25/2005.

I received a letter dated June 14, 2005 and postmarked July 16,2005 from Martha Gordon P.O. Box 5000 Farmingdale, NY 11735. She stated they cannot process my request for the reason(s) listed below, and that I had to resubmit all materials within 21 days of the date at the top of this letter to be eligible to receive my rebate.

Reason* The original box end panel showing the serial number of the eligible product was not included. Copies are not acceptable. (I sent them the original showing the serial number of the eligible product.)

Reason* The product you purchased was not sold to the retailer noted by Nikon Inc., the authorized distributor of Nikon photographic products in the United States and sponsor of this offer. Therefore, this product is not eligible for this offer. Additionally, this product is not eligible for Nikon Inc. warranty coverage. (B&H Photo is an authorized distributor of Nikon photographic products in the United States.)

Reason* The item purchased is not eligible for rebate. (Wrong again, I have all my documentation from B&H Photo when I purchased this product.)

To date, I have not received my rebate of $275.00. And if you noticed the date of their denial letter of June 14, 2005 and postmarked July 16, 2005 and I received it approximately July 18,2005. It was already over the 21 day limit to respond. This was a no win situation. So I am filing this complaint in hopes to getting my promised rebate of $275.00.

Please help me get my rebate of $275.00.
