I purshed a 2009 Nissan Marrano. Cost $40391. The Navigation software was from 2007 and flawed. They told me they could not work on it because it was not 2008-09 ver8.2 and was obsolete. The sun and moon roof did not function and thy replaced the whole roof. Still did not function and said it would have to be redesined may be by Sept. It still waiting. They offered me $250 for maintance for the future. I have been back and forth at least 9 times. 1 trip is 100 miles. They said they would pay for expenses for hotel for 3 days but they kept the car for 8 days and I still have not recieved $278 for the hotel. Vehicle had 2K miles on it when I was taking it in to be repaired. Most of the miles was back to the dealer. I offered Nissan to give me a new car with out all the problems, take over payments of $1100 per mo or give me my money back. All was refused from Corporate. I am still waiting for the roof to be changed out again. The Nav software was upgraded to one they can work on but it still has problems. The devaluation is going to be a big problem even if they get the design right. Lawyer has been contacted

Nissan still refuses to make any settlement or exchange for a non defective vehicle. Just reported that no software defective or not will be honored. The refund for my expenses was totaly ignorded and a flat out lie from the corporation consumer affairs on the $274. The redesign to fix the sunroof and missing parts issue is still not provided. The company refuses to settle for a replacment and lemon law laywers are having nothing but trouble. The next step is court. Their guarentee for service satisfaction is a total lie. I have been fighting now for 8 months to have Murano fixed properly and compansated for the depreciation for removing the sun and moon roof and replacinng the missing parts. The sun moon roof will still have to be retimed and removed again.

I will never buy another Nissian product again and warn any one else to check out their warranty policies closely.

9-15-09. They think they are above the custumer because they are so large and pretend to offer satisfaction.
