Before going to Nissan of Saratoga in the second week of July, we checked their website and saw a white 2007 Nissan Versa I wanted to test drive, among other cars. The price I saw was $12,898 for the Versa. When we arrived, Andrew Percetti was the salesman helping us.

We knew our credit wasn't in the best shape, so we had no plans on buying anything just yet. We thought it was ironic that the car Andrew brought out to us was the exact one we wanted, without even telling him.

I recently won a lot of money and I was planning on purchasing a car after we get the check. Andrew had told us that we could possibly get the car that day and then when we get the money we can just put the money on it then.

Once he brought out the paperwork, I saw he wrote down the price of the car being $15,898. $3,000 more than the internet price. Not only that, he said he'd give us $2,000 for my trade-in, which is double what Fuccillo was offering. But given the numbers, I'd actually be paying you $1,000 to take my car.

We ended up not getting the 2007 Nissan Versa, but I did write down the VIN to take home just to make sure they matched up to the one marked $12,898... and they did.

Teddy Maldonado, the General Manager, even e-mailed me to ask about my experience. I wrote to him everything I mentioned above. It's been just over 3 weeks and I haven't heard back.

My check will be coming soon and they won't see a cent of it. There are plenty of cars and plenty of dealerships I could go to.

Your response was simply OUTSTANDING!  They thought you were going to be the average customer and just collapse and become their doormat right then and there.

The reason the Sleazy American Car Business exists is because they know most of the people walking thru the door have no problem with playing doormat, sucker or chump all for a stupid car.  These dealerships deceive and defraud these people as well as treating them like sh-- and these people REWARD then for the treatment by staying there and buying from them!  Incredible, isn't it???

But NOT YOU!  You were FANTASTIC!  Like I said, OUTSTANDING!!

You give me hope!
