I know first hand how NJ CURE attempts to save every penny they can by denying as many claims as they can get away with. Maybe it's because the owners of the company are husband and wife who employ their son and HIS wife as major contributors to these questionable actions. I know for a fact that the underwriting and SIU Departments view EVERY stolen car claim as fraudlent.

Although they will deny this accusation, it has been known that the SIU Dept supervisor, JENNIFER (DIMAGGIO) POE has investigated numerous claims by making calls to landlords, banks, credit companies, phone companies while misrepresenting herself as a policyholder or insured. Not to mention that while she was promoted to "supervisor" she had absolutely NO experience in SIU claim handling and started out with NJ CURE only a year prior as a medical claim rep.

Let's not forget their PIP (medical claims)Dept. For your sake, if you are ever involved in an accident while carrying NJCURE, I hope you are not injured. Even the ER bills go under scrutiny. That is if they ever get paid!! Most of the time there is a 5-6 week delay before they need medical records!! By the time your bill gets paid, it's in Collections. And lets not forget NJ CURE treatment plan process. EVERYTHING needs to pre-approved. Office visits, therapy visits, every kind of testing.
If your doctor misses a day to approve something or if NJ CURE's on staff doctor (who is really a chiropractor), denies a test that you need, and you have the treatment anyway, YOU are penalized a hefty fee. Their on staff chiropractor denies everything he can, even if he is not qualified to do so...which is most of the time. To be fair, the reps are not usually the one denying these claims, it's usually the supervisor that has the final word.

It sickens me how they get away with so much and the insured picks up the bill. NJ CURE claims to save you money off your premiums but God forbid if you have to file a claim!! It's not worth giving NJ CURE your business- trust me!! You WILL be sorry!!
