NJ Remodeling LLC cJS Construction Incomplet word. Rip off on electric work and plumbing, roofing Sayreville, New Jersey
John Skibniewski ( refering to as John ) owner of NJ Remodeling (AKA) CJS Construction. I have reported John to BBB and Consumers affairs with no results. My contract stated that I would receive three new doors. two interior doors and one exterior door 36X80. The two interior doors were never replace. with new doors. The electric work included a light in the ceiling in the hall way. The light was placed in the ceiling right next to the door the the utility room , wher the frunice is. I am unable to open the door all the way. When I told John he agreeded that the loght should be moved forward so the door to the utility romm will open all the way. That was never done. I am unable to remove the furnice from the unility room if he has to be done. Also I do not have proper access to the door on the furnice to remove the filters and clean them.
I was charged $650.00 to have new hot and cold water pipes removed and replaced with new pipes. They were to be replace from the Hot water heater to the Kitchen sink. The only thing that John did was put a new peice of pipe from under the kitchen cabinet to the faucet in the kitchen. When I went under the crawl space to see what was done the old gavnized pipe was stil there. I called John to tell him not to pay the plumber because he did not do the work. Jaho stated very calmly that he would take care of it. The next morning John had his men go under the crawl space and start nailing a very this peics of blue syrafoam strips to cover the work that was not done. When I confronted John He stated that the plumber could not change the pipes because he could not connect galvines to plastic pipe and copper pipe. I demanded by money back but John stated hat de paid the plumber. ( no Plumber) wa sever at my home.
Icalled a plimber and was told by him that ther was no problem in connecting any pipes . He gave me an estimate for remove all the insulation replace the pipes and put all new insulation back at the cost of over $3000.00.
The awing that John put over the exterior door is too small. I am unable to open the storm door without taking the side piping off the awning.
I paid John $5770 to put a rubber roof on my mobile home. John stated that the price was so high because he had to put felt paper down first then put the rubber roof on. John said if that was not done the roof could get a hole in from the medale roof that is ther now. Not felt paper was but donw first amd I have water damage in the ceiling in my living room and kitchen.
I would never, never recomend this man or his two companies to anyone. John can not be trusted..
