Complaint Review: No More Rack

No More Rack They are a fraudulant company. Take your money, when you return an item they give you a credit, not a refund then tell you that you cant return tha item because you used credit. New York New York

i ordered alot of items from this company on line, called nomorerack.com. I had a few items that needed to be sent back, i followed their instructions and sent them back. Instead of crediting my Pay Pal account or credit card, they gave me credit. So when i repurchased an item and if there was a problem they told me i used store credit and they wouldnt do anything. That store credit was my money. I also sent back an item 11-27-13, they received it 12-2-13 and i keep being told they have to get ahold of the vendor to see if they received it. I ordered a gel cooling pillow and it came filled with mold! Black mold. They tell me that since its past the 14 day return policy there isnt anything they will do about it. They dont back their items, they have given me the run around since the end of November and there is even a no more rack page on face book for haters of this company and other people who have been scammed by this company. I want my 28.00 back for the moldy pillow, i was aked to send pictures, which i did and they still wont stand behind their product. Whoever packaged this pillow surely saw the mold, since it was even all over the cardboard on the front of the pillow. I spoke with someone pretending to be a supervisor with no experience in business. I have a business degree and good business would be to rectify the situation not hide behind a script

I understand that ording by internet there are some risks involved. Most internet companies i have dealt with were honest and promptly settled complaints. Your right, they have my money and i do believe their is something that can be done. I am not the only one who was ripped off by this company, If you stand alone and take it up the butt, nothing gets resolved

 Let me help you a bit with some understanding about NoMoreRack. They are not a VENDOR driven business like your standard stores. They purchase damaged containers at a discounted price and then either repackage or just sell as is. This means that you are paying for factory seconds and damaged products. How else do you think they can offer the prices that they do? They buy from forth and fifth party companies. An example would be like Apple or Amazon they would be first party vendors. Lets use tablets as an example. Any other company is rated vs. Apple or Amazon, so an Ipad or a Kindle would be considered first or top of the general consumer line. Any other tablet companies rated against these companies would fall into tiers. I.E Apple would be tier one, kindle would be tier two. They buy from tier 4 and 5 companies. It looks like a tablet but functions like a feature cellphone.

This is one of the MAJOR problems with ordering online. You get defective/damaged/moldy items because you chose to do your purchasing sight unseen. You dont get to handle the product, you get a picture. You dont get to examine the product, you get a description. It wont change until the American Consumer has been so screwed by online shopping that they flee from it. Best bet is to just shop local!! This way YOU are supporting YOUR local economy. Yes its more expensive. But you have easy return policies, you have real people to talk with, and the products are of a much higher quality. Plus the added benifit of helping to creat jobs locally so its a win/win for all parties involved.

See your making demands to this company, but THEY ALREADY HAVE YOUR MONEY!!! And here is the REAL kicker....THEY DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE IT BACK!!!!! You cant go make a scene and get your way. You cant boycott the business as they have no physical building. You cant point the police at them because they are not even in your state. Basically your boned, so stick with local shopping and steer away from online. Yes the prices LOOKS tempting but in the long run its ONLY the consumer getting screwed.
