Complaint Review: NOKIA + AT&T

i have bought a new mokia wireless phone at at&t wireless in hollywood FL on 3/9/02. the promotion said the there was $50 mail in rebate on the particular model. we chose that when this was one of the reason. the sales lady explained it should take about 6 weeks for the check to arrive. she even photocopy all the details we needed for the mail in rebate: the form, the receipt, the model number and so on.

after about 10 weeks i called the phone number on the form to find out about the check. a massage saud it eas sent out a couple of weeks before. i thought that maybe due to late post office work it did not arrive and decided to wait a little beat.
i called again on 7/25/02 - 4 months after i purchased the phone. i spoke with adrian. (phone number is 800-458-4239).

adrian said that they had a mistake with my apartment #, and that he will corect it and mail it back within a few days.

nothing! i called again on 10/23/02 and spoke with Clar (that is how to spell her name sh said). she apologized and said she would mail it and it will arrive within 10-15 business days.

i am waiting, but i don't believe them any more. there were other phone call that i did not write down and therfor can't say when they occured, and got more or less the same massage.

i have a feeling that all they wanted is me to buy the phone, and the prmotion promising a rebate was a fraud!!! i want my money, atleast $50 they promised, if not more then that. they have deceived me.
