This company nolimitdronez intentionally used deceitful wording to mislead users into believing that their NLD mod tool would unleash the DJI drone and allow it to fly anywhere without restrictions.

It was based on this misrepresentation that they charged ~65 USD for the tool that turns out to be completely nonfunctional. As it turns out, the customer is told by the tool "after the fact" (post sales) that this NLD tool can only remove the NFZ (No Fly Zone) and hence can only truly "unleash" the drone to allow it to fly "anywhere without restrictions" if (and only if) the drone was on the first version of the 01.00.100 firmware! In future versions a downgrade is needed to get back to 01.00.100 however the problem comes when DJI prevents rollouts after a higher firmware version which means essentially the customer of nolimitdronez paid $65+ for nothing...

It is essentially a pure scam and they made it worse by mislabeling the capabilities of their tool to make it seem like it would work for all firmware versions when it fact it doesn't work (NFZ removal is not working) for all firmware versions except for one single exact version 01.00.100 which makes this tool entirely worthless...

For a long time the nolimitdronez displayed the status for the Mavic 2 as "No NFZ", indicating that the tool could remove the NFZ, and get rid of the No Fly Zone... However it wasn't until recently after I repeatedly called them out on this deception that they finally changed it from "No NFZ" (which to anyone in the drone community meant it was unrestricted etc) to a "X" mark indicated that this functionality was in fact NOT available with this NLD tool...

To add insult to injury, nolimitdronez promised its customers years ago that it would work hard to find a workaround in the future so that the NFZ removal will be available for other firmware versions or at the very least a way around the rollback prevention so that users can downgrade to the only version that NFZ removal can be implemented with the NLD tool.... the problem is that they never lived up to this promise and after almost more than 2 years have done nothing.... except to come up with a new scam/scheme of getting even more money from users by selling them a hardware mod called the "Mavic 2 NLD Rooted Core Board" to supposedly that will help overcome the NFZ limitations that their NLD tool itself was already supposed to have resolved...

not only that they have the audacity to charge $400+ USD for this board that they bought uncoded from the same supplier that DJI originally bought from, and this board actually only costs them $20 to make but they want to rake in a 20000% profit by re-selling it as $400! And worse yet, they also refuse to offer a rebate for users whom already shelled out the $65+ USD previously for their useless scam of a NLD tool that never did nothing, at the very least they could offset that by offering those users a discount towards the purchase of the "Mavic 2 NLD Rooted Core Board" that supposedly this time can finally do what the NLD tool was sold to have been able to do in the first place! Deducting the monies users already spent on the tool and putting it towards the purchase of the much more expensive "Mavic 2 NLD Rooted Core Board" of which they are raking in 20000% profit margins is the least they can do!

Recently after a crash of my Mavic 2 drone in which data analysis determined it was the fault of the DJI flight controller /firmware, the DJI replaced my unit and sent me back a brand new unit in return, after I repaired it with my existing remote controller and reactivated it with DJI, I discovered that with the new DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic 2 application for Windows PC I could now finally downgrade it to the firmware version of 01.00.300. Which means I could then use the NLD tool to further downgrade it from 01.00.300 to 01.00.100 to hopefully then finally use the tool as it was originally intended to be used to get rid of the NFZ so I can "fly anywhere without restrictions" as nolimitdronez had pitched from the very beginning. However the NLD tool refused to work, and didn't accept my activation key code that I had previously spent $65+ USD with nolimitdronez. So I never could have used the tool in the past (on my old Mavic it was already past the higher version of firmware and wouldn't rollback) I never made effective use of the tool and was only now after DJI sent me back a new Mavic that was on lower firmware version that I could even possibly use this NLD tool for the first time in the first place! The NLD tool refused to activate even though I was using the correct key, and likely it detected a new Mavic hardware serial and wanted me to purchase a second license!

I opened a support ticket with nolimitdronez to which they immediately closed it without any resolution, without any attempt at helping me and without even so much as a note or comment or resolution remark! Then I posted this issue on their so-called public forum but to no avail, no one helped me on the forum either...

Since I originally purchased this NLD activation tool last late December, my credit card company also cannot assist me with a dispute or chargeback as it pasted the period of time in which I could have filed with them against nolimitdronez... Essentially nolimitdronez mislead people with intentionally deceptive language to get people to purchase their product just to later on find out it cannot even do what it was promised... instead of offering refunds when asked, they claim that a workaround is right around the corner and keep stalling for months or years, and then finally say they found a hardware solution but you have to pay them $400 bucks for the uncoded boards that they sourced from the same suppliers in China that DJI purchased for $20!

This company is more shady than the UK Zano drone scam that I exposed here:
