Complaint Review: Nomorerack

 I purchased a Salt Crystal Lamp from Nomorerack, manufactured by WB Minerals back in June 2012. Initially upon receipt I did not open yet decided to try at the end of June 2012. Box reads "Freshens Air Naturally - is scientifically proven to work like air purifier. When lit (plugged-in), it can emits negative ions that fight against positively charged particles that cause us to feel stuffy and sluggish"

  I open the box, pull out lamp and plug-in, I stepped out of the room (note reside in 6K Sq. Ft. Custom Estate) return back into Great-Room & Kitchen only to find that both rooms were clouded in (Black Smoke) and more billowing from lamp. Immediately unplugged and threw out rear doors to backyard. Needless to say between the smoke and the smell imbedded into the furniture, carpet etc immediately became ill. The thought that my home could have Burned down had I not caught it.

  Immediately attempted to contact Nomorerack & MB Mineral Int'l via phone and email getting no Response. Today July 8, 2013 I phoned Nomorerack requesting to speak to Supervisor which was was girl named Michelle #0024. Her lack of interest shocked me and told me that she would do me a favor and offer me a credit for 1/2 the price I paid for the item. My mouth dropped in shock! I then requested the Corporate Office number which she said she did have, yet had the mailing address in NY. I then search the Internet and located the # to the Headquarters in NYC (212) 405-4011 and called them to speak to Exec Management/Owners Jay Bhatti or Vipesh Agarwal, VP only to get their VMails. 

  I run a multi-million $ Corporation and will do whatever I have to do to get this resolved! Don't Buy from Nomorerack if you expect to get Responsible Customer Service! They need to be made Accountable to their Customers and hire Quality Customer Service Representatives!
