Complaint Review: NORAM CAPITAL HOLDINGS INC

Anthony Reteria sold over $40,000.00 worth of non owed debt and consumer information and refused to respond or refund the funds that were paid. they would not honor the sales contract that held for these matters to be refunded and he will not answer emails and calls related to this matter.

Made a purchase of deficiency balances on defaulted truck lease agreements originated by Maxim Commercial Capital from NorAm Capital Holdings. The purchase was purported to be right from the originator and would come with all the Media within 7-10 days of the purchase. Made the purchase 7/13/15 on $774,924.80 of face value accounts for $40,683.55 @5.25%. After funding a spread sheet was sent containing $750,319.80 of alleged deficiency balances. A scrub of the consumers was done to find if any would qualify for the buyback provisions on the contact. 3 account were found to have filed for BK and would qualify for a buyback. A buyback request for the missing amount and the 3 BK accounts was submitted 8/3/15 for a refund request of $7428.17. On 9/11/15 after being strung along that the media was going to show up any day and having not received the refund for the qualified accounts I put in a request for a full refund of the purchase price $40,683.55 sighting the contractual agreement that any account without media to substantiate the debt would be bought back from the seller NorAm Capital. This was within the 60 days aloud by the contract. The buyback request to date (2/16/16) has not be fulfilled, denied or accepted. Media was sent on these files 1/11/16 and further proved the non-existence of legally collectable debt. Anthony said a refund would be made when a BBB complaint was filed against him and still has not responded or made good on this matter.

Do not do business with any company he is involved with as you will be swindled and left holding the bag.
