we bought our boat from norris marine used 1 owner which we know the previous owner of the boat march 2002. we put a system $1,000.00 system in it and everything worked excellent. Oct. 2002 we took our boat in to get winterized. we was told that the cost would be 150.00 and that it would take approx. 1 month. we get a call 1 month later stating that our lower unit to our moter was rusted and needed to be fixed approx. another $1,000.00 and another 2 months.

When we bought this boat from norris marine that told us that they this boat was serviced by them every year and is in excellent condition which we had no problems with it. my husband wanted to see the rusted lower unit for prove well everytime he went in to see it they could not find our lower unit or they where to busy to show us. 2 months later they called us they power pack was bad and needed a new one and this was not true cause the boat was running just fine before norris got a hold of it. my father which is a mechanic went to go look at the boat and all our gages, our $1,000.00 system and power pack was fried due to norris experience mechanic which was a high school boy and also our neighborhood trouble maker crossing the wires.

we finally got our boat back in march "03" and was stranded in the middle of the lake texoma took it back to norris and they said it was the water pump. they left our boat in the ice, snow and rain all winter with top open which rotted the wood and ruined the seats. norris stated that we should have had a cover and I have it on video that our cover to the boat was there in the boat but not used. To get our boat so called winterized costed us almost $4,000.00. Norris marine just laughed at us. they also hit something with our boat trailer and done $800.00 worth of damages there. I would love to get back at norris or I hope that the business shuts done soon. Please don't take your boat or buy one there. I have had nothing but negative results from other people since this has happened.

I feel for you and completely believe everthing you have said about Norris Marine. I to bought a boat from Norris and then by my own fault wrecked the boat on dry land and made the mistake of taking the boat back to Norris to have it repaired. It has been nothing but a headache ever since. It has been lie after lie they have never completed the repair job and it is going on 3 years now. I have to many instances to type here but I will tell you just the latest incident. I refused to take my boat in until they had all the replacement items at their store because I did not want my boat sitting outside in the weather, well I take my boat in and they were suppossed to replace all of the seats due to the fact they bubbled up right after I first bought the boat 3 years ago and they were suppossed to be replaced under warranty, anyway I take the boat in after getting a call that all of my seats were in and they were ready to do the work. Well I get a call that my boat is ready to pick up and I ask about another issue they were going to replace which was the front decal from the insurance work and I was told oh I forgot that let me get back to you. Well the following week I get a call and am told that they can no longer get the decal and what did I want to do so I said let me check with my wife, I was also told that they were going to have to move my boat outside because they were getting things ready for the boat show so I ask when are you going to move my boat outside and I was told Friday, well this was Tuesday so I told them I would be there Thursday to pick up my boat before they moved it outside and I was told that would be fine. Well I arrive Thursday and my boat is sitting outside and of course Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning there was alot of rain in Norman. Well my boat is soaked, actually had water pockets in my bimimi tops and cup holders had water standing in them. I go inside and the only person there was the head mechanic and I asked him when was my boat put outside and he said one day last week, well I get on the phone to their sales manager and of course he denies that my boat was moved out the previous week but it was obvious it had been and to top it off only the back of the seats had been replaced, so when I asked why did you not replace all of the cushions I was told well we did that last year, of course that was not done last year but they cannot produce any records of the work they have done on my boat because of their storm damage, what a crock.I get a call today stating that since they have no records that they are not going to replace the front decal on my boat unless I pay them for it, I did pay them for it when they did the original work and they screwed it up and have been promising me since that they would replace it, so that is why say lie after lie.

As you can see from my experience I completely believe what you have said and I also have a friend who had a much worse experince than mine with Norris Marine. And Norris if you need my full name it is Kenny Daniells I have nothing to hide just telling the truth

I question the validity of this report and all information pertaining to it.  If the accusations mentioned are in fact true there are several procedures in place to account for, remedy, and respond to multiple issues.  I would like to know what the complaintants fullname is and the boat type that we serviced.  Furthermore, any records you can provide to validate any such claim would be helpfull as well.  Merely posting a first name and a city - it is difficult to understand why anyone would just post these if in fact this claim is legit.  Since 1990 we have had a solid rating with the BBB and always take care of any and all complaints with a documented proven procedure that pleases the customer in all cases.  Why were we not contacted by the BBB in this case?  We maintain the highest standards with customer satisfaction and annually achieve the top ratings in customer satisfaction with every one of our manufacturers.  In addition, we are the only OKC dealer with such spotless record in the areas of customer satisfaction.  We further question why, any claims made on this site were not addressed to the General Manager of Norris Marine or the manufacturer of your product?  We look forward to an investigation of the accuracy of this claim and welcome all questions pertaining to it.  We trust that the owners of this site will see the error in allowing false claims to be posted against our business without a thorough investigation and a chance to respond.
