Run dont walk befor leaving your camper at North Alabama RV I ask north alabama to come to the campground to give me a estimate on repairing a place on my camper that came loose, he looked at camper and called me back 3 days later, he said if I wanted to have it filed on insurance he would do it for between 4/5 thousand but if I was going to pay for it myself it would be about 2thousand to fix just like new but could fix and it last for a couple of years or so for about 900 . So I had them pick up at camp ground..first mistake they did not take my steel plates that was made for camper to be sat on, to prevent legs from going into ground and making trailor unlevel also left behind was my choke blocks for my tires...they was stolen so I lost them....they explain they never pick things like that up when they pick up camper. this was nov. I called in Jan to make sure it would be ready for camping the first of march.... no show called many times was always told someone would get back to me..no one ever did ....wanted it by memoral day was promised, but they called and said they had so many would I wait.I said ok,,for a few more days I finally went over there and saw my camper parked in the back beside some that was totaled and guess what the right leg was sitting about 1 ft in the ground....the camper was crooked and it was a heavy camper....complained.they finally got it out and worked on it....I went to pick it up and slide wouldnt even go in....I left it and a nice guy name Randy in the shop redid it for me..but I got it home, and it has a leak in back bedroom that wasnt there befor ,right where the leg was mashed in the ground, and had the camper crooked..just please by parts there are stay with your camper, are talk to noone but Randy. This has been a night mare

We moved to the area a year ago and needed an RV repair facility to handle issues with our RV.  We previously had both dealers and private contractors who worked on our RV in Virginia and knew no one in Alabama.  I stopped here, spoke with Leon, and he said he could fix all coach issues but NOT any mechanical/engine type problems.

Our first experience was when the awning ripped in a storm.  Leon filed the insurance papers, repeatedly spoke with the insurance company to ensure I got the proper reimbursement, and then did the work quickly and professionally.  When I went to pick up the RV, the check had not yet arrived from the insurance co.  Leon told me to take the rig and come back with the check when it came in.

I came back up and noted a problem with the awning:  the pull down strap was too short.  Leon apologized, got a new one that was longer, and put it on at no charge.

I have been back numerous times for "fix up" and maintenance issues and always been treated fairly, professionally and quickly.  I trust the management at North Alabama RV to do the job right and if there is a problem, to make it right.  I will not hesitate to continue using them and will recommend them to others.
