North American Bancard NAB North American Bancard hired me as a 1099 independent sales representative thru a third party and then allowed this third party to not pay me monies owed on accounts sold for North American Bancard. Dallas, Texas
I responded to an ad place on the internet for an outsidesales representatives in the Texas area. I met with the person that hired me as an independent sales representative. He told me I would be working for him direct with North American Bancard being the ISO that I would represent to merchants and clients using credit cards and debit cards. I was trained for three days, the training program consisted of me riding with the person that hired me and tagging along for his cold calls to merchants in the San Antonio, Texas market area. I accompanied him into businesses and observed his techniques on selling the merchant services company to the individual merchants. This was done for three days and on the final day I was told by him that I could go out on my own from this point on and call him if I had any questions. On the following Monday, with very little knowledge or training I start calling on merchants to obtain their merchant service business. I am successful in obtaining over 35 accounts from the end of Sept until Dec. I started out calling the person that hired me, but a week or so into calling on businesses he stops answering my calls, so I start to call the 800 number printed on something the man that hired me had left with me. At this point, I am dealing with Shane and Paul Boyce, who do help me get proposals and paperwork done. They never tell me the man that hired me is no longer with the firm, I ask about him and they down play the whole thing and act as if he is just too busy to take my calls. When in fact, he had been fired from the firm just like I got fired from the firm. He finally called me and told me he had not been getting paid and had complained about it, andNorth American Bancard's ( Paul and Shane Boyce) response was to lock him out of the website with no notice and just not pay him at all. I experienced the exact same treatment, when I called the main office in Troy, Michigan and spoke with Mark Moran, he tells me that I work for an independent contractor and not North American Bancard. He goes on the explain that even though Shane and Paul Boyce are contracted Regional Managers representing North American Bancard they have no control over what they say or do in the field. I explain I have proof that they represent themselves has being North American Bancard with letter head, Agent Alerts coming from North American Bancard email ISP's and phone is answered NAB. I send proof that they owe me money, he tries to work between me and the Boyce's. The Boyce's tell Mark Moran they do not owe me bonuses even though I have emailed all documentation to Mark Moran proving otherwise, they then tell Mark Moran they will pay my residuals on Friday, Jan 15, 2011. They never pay me and now tell me I am in bad standing with NAB so I no longer qualify for any payments. I ask why I have not been notified that I was in bad standing until the day they are to pay my residuals. The Boyce's and North American Bancard respond with an email stating they have been advised by legal counsel to no longer have contact with me. While searching for another ISO's to work in order to continue making money in the field, I am being told that this is a common practice with NAB, that they are well know for this type of behavior. North AmericanBancard has FTC complaints and haslegal action being brought against them now due to their unethical behavior. North American Bancard is profiting from unethical and unprofessional 1099 Regional Managers that are hiring people such as myself to enter the merchants businesses and obtain contracts that bind them to North American Bancardfor three years, North American Bancard now has a new account to make money off of and Shane and Paul Boyce now have the residuals on these accounts. What a sweet deal for these twounethical people and entities. Keep in mind, these accounts are earned and contracted thru the expense of the independent reps that are not being compensated from the Boyce'sand/or North American Bancard. I do believe there will be a class action suitbrought against this firm.I am in the process ofcontacting all authorities necessary to stop this from happening inTexas This is a scam job and people need to beware.
