I actually use to work at North American College so I learnt first hand how corrupt and unethical this company is. They lie to people to volunteer on a full time bases in hope to get a job which never happens; free labor. They try to pressure paid employees to work overtime which their not paid for; which is also illegal and unethical. They typically only recruit foreign students telling them their native degree outside of Canada are worthless and their school was almost promised to give them the credential they needed to get a job in Canada. Which this is a misrepresentation of the truth. They say you will be making $25.00 plus an hour easily after graduation. They do fairs at small malls looking to recruit vulnerable looking foreign people. Get their information and call them on a general regular basis almost harassing them to become students. Typically Rashmi Kayastha's in charge of all or most of the cold calling. Rashmi was actually a foreign new comer and graduate from North American college when it was very small who later got a job not in her field too and helped expand the college to what it is today by lying to recruit students. Some take OSAP, go in debt some come on through second career. It's really sad. In order to get the appropriate Government funding they have to monitor Alumni who get jobs after graduation. Typically the majority never get a job in their field of study because employers know this is a scam College. Moreover if a graduate gets a job at Tim Horton's for an example after graduation their wrote off on their Government forms as obtaining employment after Graduation so student funding isn't cut off.

One of my jobs was to call alumni to see if they got a job after graduation and I found that some of the alumni couldn't even speak English. They would put their child on the phone and I would have to ask the child if their mother or father was working or not. It was absurd and corrupt because they had to pass a basic test before they could even get the Government loan or tuition money in which the test was accommodated by the college.

This is the most corrupt unethical place I have ever experienced in my life and I am surprised that their still open up for business. Even their website says Hired on it providing a false illusion. This school operates out of a small mall beside a dollar store. I believe that the majority of the instructors aren't even properly certified professionals. The people who work at this school are getting rich ripping off uninformed vulnerable people. I feel sorry for any student who comes to this school. Their diplomas are worthless. So if your a student thinking about studying here, please don't; a waste of time and effort for a lot of money with nothing tangible to show for it; just embarrassment.
