This mis-adventure begins in early june of 2013. I shopped around for obviously for the best rate and spoke to a guy named "Brian". We told him our plans for our move, we discussed our needs and so forth. Brian made the claim tomy wife and I on speaker phone they his company that he represented was different then the others. He promised that, they were the shippers, while most hire out jobs to contractors, they based all of the costs of the move based on "weight" not "cubic feet" as others do because they will not use the top portion of the truck and will still charge you for space not used. We told him we needed pickup of our household items on the 25th as we were to fly the 26th. He stated to my wife and I that we were plugged in for the 25th. He then told us to call on the 20th to reconfirm. ok, sounds reasonable right? this is where the story changes for the worse. On the 20th, I called, thinking all was well, they'd come on the 25th and all but no, we were told they were coming the 26th, THE DAY WE FLY! we expressed our anger because Brian had confirmed a pickup on the 25th. So later in the call, we were told they would arrive between 10-12pm EST and we expressed our problem of flying that day.

I want to back up and point out that, we contracted them for $2,900 approximately.

they already got the $781 prefee which, is deducted from the total amount.

Day of move: the day of the move, they showed up 1.5 hours before we had to leave for the airport and the packers literally dump your (I'm using how they packed our things in this case), into big boxes with no care as to what room it was in. they crushed my wifes collectors barbies, I've invested alot of cash into this colelction as well, by stuffing them in boxes. at any rate, I signed the paperwork as we were timed crunched. we had a lady from our church, watch as they packed our things while we had our airport shuttle arrive and we had to leave. While at the airport, i get a call from our friend from church who gave me to the driver who stated, we went over our contracted weight. meaning; they waaay underestimated! here's where they rip you off. now they have our stuff, the driver tells me that we owe $1,600 extra due to extra weight. now in hindsight, they had NO scale to prove this extra weight BUT they have you by the gonads because they have your stuff. You are at their mercy. this gets even dirtier so be patient. So I got them paid accordingly as all I cared about was getting my families belongings to our new place. so you'd think, what was left over was what we'd owe right? -wrong! We had to borrow $1,943.75 when the truck arrives AND an extra $75 becuase we where on the second floor. wait, wait, this gets even dirtier.

At our new town:I had a discussion with a Pauline Tomich, who, by the way, is all over this and other websites as an "alledged" ripoff artist by over charging as much as 4 times what people were originally charged as another report here on ROR.com has on record.

When we got to our new town, I find out from pauline, who never took the time to contact me that the driver screwed up about him not having me sign some document about the additional $1,600. It was his screw up but, I'm the one inconvenienced with with fixing their screw up by having to fax my credit card and ID info over for them to be able to charge me the $1,600. what a mess and a joke! So when Pauline spoke to me, she clarified that, she got the info she needed and she'd tell dispatch to send our stuff off to our new home. this was on July the 2nd or 3rd approx. I was thinking we made progress. We ended up spending over a week, more like a week and a half, maybe more in our new place with no furniture except, what family loaned us to use. we sat in our livingroom in two lawnchairs and some pots and panswe had to borrow. I can understand some things and be lenient to a point but, what we went through was hell. "would we.. or wouldn't we get our stuff?"

During the wait.. I was constantly on Pauline about the whereabouts of our stuff and all I would get was,she didn't know where it was. How does an owner, who runs a moving company NOT know where their truck was? that's part of your job! So I got this sick feeling in my gut that, we might NOT get our stuff. after all, this was our lives, my wife and I started with very little stuff,so you kind get what I mean right?

Our Stuff Arrives!: we finally got a date set, the driver called me to confirm and the day arrives. the driver would NOT unload the truck until they first got their $1943.75.plus the $75. I wasn't going to pay the $75 because at first, they jacked us off for now close to $5,000 almost double what they contracted with us.We didn't get the running board to our bed so.. we have a useless head and footboard to my wife and my bed that we are sleeping on the floor on our box spring and mattress. our kids toys came up missing my wifes barbie collection was terribly mangled, we lost 6 or more harlequin masks that were broken beyond any hope of fixing. we lost alot of kitchen goods and pans and so many things.

All I can warn you about is, DO NOT deal with this company, go with Bekins or other bigname company. They may be more but, they will better pack your stuff. I read other reports on other complaint sites about this company and I am fully sure that, if you do go with another company, you will be the better off for it. The company was reported as saying "it's not our problem" when people reported having contacted them about filing a complaint or paperwork to get things replaced. I did file a local police report about their shady and deceptive practises.

as an example: how could they claim the extra weight when they were still at our house and there was no truck scale????? they had our stuff, they had me by the gonads.. they know this! they lied! I don't expect to get any favorable recourse after what I have found out this company.

You have been warned!!!!
