I placed an order with North Carolina Furniture on E. 19th St in NYC on November 17, 2007. I paid a $900 deposit for two Lane Reclining sofas. I was promised delivery in 10 weeks. Called end of January, Vanessa seemed confused and told me that she had to get in touch with the manufacturer - Lane. Called back next day, this time Natasha told me the delivery was scheduled for the last week of February. I called the first week of March and was not able to get through to anyone. The phone seems to be out of order. I then found out that the company had filed bankrupcy.
