Complaint Review: North Carolina Turnpike Authority

How toll collections are being conducted is criminal. Why this is not being looked into blows my mind. Myself and many people I know have been victim to overbilling. They don't credit payments, the online site doesn't accept payments, and they tack on fees for tolls under a dollar.

I called to dispute and they gave me the run around for 30 minutes. Even with a transponder I consistently get paper invoices, for higher amounts. Once paid, they don’t credit my account so they can jack up the fees and steal more money. This is so poorly administrated at best, or downright criminal misconduct. I am writing my state representative.
