I purchased a new 2006 Hyundai Azera on February 12, 2006. I informed the dealership that my credit union would not approve the $31,000.00 loan, only $20,000.00. Since there is no cooling off period and the dealer is wanting to finance me at 7.95 % when the credit union would financeme at 5.74%. I spoke to Mr. Wayman and asked if I could return the car, he said no. I drove back to the dealership yesterday, February 14th and spoke to Trippe, another sales manager and asked him what could I do about the car. Trippe said he would get back with me tomorrow, but he said that I could trade-in the vehicle. A friend of mine was with me as a witness. I called the dealership today and now Trippe informs me that the only way I can trade in the car is to make a car payment in which it is not due until March 29th at the amount of $489.27 in which Mr. Wayman had informed me that my payments would be $412.00 per month. But not knowing that I am going to purchase the alarm and treatment for the exterior paint in which I have been informed is a waste of money. So that is why my payments will be at $489.27 instead of $412.00 per month in which I cannot afford. Insurance is going to be high because I have tickets on my driving record. But mostly, I am upset that I was ripped off for the price of the vehicle. I went to another dealership today and spoke to a finance manager at Drew-Hyundai stated I am paying too much for this vehicle. What can I do, can my contract be renegotiated, or unless I do not qualify for the financing and be able to get my trade-in vehicle back. Please help, because I have been ripped off and getting the run-around. Am I to make the first payment, or should I wait?

Thanks
