On May 27, 2016: I purchased a 2003 Buick Century from North Hills Auto Mall. Car was represented as being in sound running condition with new inspection and emission stickers furnished by Vince’s Automotive Services, Inc. per the station id number written on the stickers. August 11, 2016: after only having driven the car 1,032 miles, required $1,763.59 worth of work on the motor. North Hills Auto Mall presented a warranty at the time of purchase by Cars Protection Plus as “covering parts and labor” for approved work (power train). Cars Protection Plus only covered $560.79 of the $1,763.59. January 9, 2017: $352.01 required to address residual motor issues. February 15, 2017: after taking car in for state inspection, $1,052.92 worth of work is required to pass inspection. Car is taken out of service due to safety concerns. February 24, 2017: after reaching out to North Hills Auto Mall, the GM Jay, offers to complete the work required for inspection, WITHOUT SEEING THE CAR, to do the work for an even $400.00. After selling a car with questionable inspection stickers, misrepresenting the car, and the warranty, they’re offer is to CHARGE THE CUSTOMER to fix existing issues in order to hide their fraudulent business practices. This same tactic has been used with other North Hills Auto Mall Customers. **All claims in this report are documented and verifiable. ** PA State Police were notified and Consumer Complaint filed with Attorney General’s office. Will notify of any updates.
