Message: Dear Mayor Bloomberg and Mr.Mintz: North Shore Agency is pursuing collection of a book that I have neither ordered, received or purchased. Normally, from my understanding credit cards, checks or some other form of payment is required before products are sent out. Since they are seeking payment for something I neither authorized nor provided credit card information for, it stands to reason that the internet company that they represent is using the internet in a fraudulent manner to try and intimidate money out of people. I have stage IV Cancer and believe the company they represent may be taking advantage of the disabled. I have scanned the invoice which I will provide for N.Shore Agency. Phone is 516 370 9480 x 12833. Bus. Lic. 808922 ID 062690015425, Type-NQB. I have scanned copies of the invoice and can fax them or email them. The bill is only 35.92 but this predatory type of behavior should have oversight. When was the last time a company shipped anything out without having a credit card on file or ensuring payment first. I believe these operations that try to take moderate amounts of money by misrepresentation or actually not providing said service necessitates proper Government oversight. Sincerely, Glen ****, M.D.
