North Shore Agency NSA Attempted to collect money on a bogus magazine subscription Old Bethpage New York
In July 2015 and again in August 2015, I received two "collection notices" from North Shore Agency telling me that I had a "delinquint" account with Harper's magazine and owed them money for a magazine subscription.
I've never been a subscriber to Harper's magazine, so it was obviously bogus. But I kept the mailers just in case. The wording of the letters was pretty intimidating and appeared to be legitimate, except for the fact that I supposedly owed a mere $12.97. The letters they sent me were fraudulent because they clearly stated that I owed a debt which is simply not true.
