North Shore Agency Ripoff Billing of False People Magazine Subscription Renewal New York New York
North Shore Agency sent me a letter also claiming to be collecting on a past due subscription renewal for People magazine. I have not renewed a subscription with People magazine or any other magazine. They are attempting to collect $87.60 on behalf of thier "client", although they do not clearly state who their client is. The back of the letter says to contact them in 30 days to "dispute the validity of the debt". I will send them a letter and copy People magazine as well. I find it interesting that when I searched the internet for North Shore Agency, the first thing that came up was a bunch of articles on how this company is attempting to collect on debts that are not owed from people all over the United States and Canada. I am hoping that enough people will report them to stop this fraud and harrassment. It is illegal.
