In November I contacted North United Van Lines to give me an estimate to move from PA to CO. Javier came to my house and walked through and gave me a flat price for moving. I had not finished packing yet and was in the process of selling my house. I was happy with the price. When it came time for my belongings to be picked up Javier came back with one other man. After loading the truck with over half my belongings including a priceless grandfathers clock, Javier informed me that the price was now $1900 more than the original quoted price. He insisted I had more stuff than he saw on the original walk thru. I had in fact gotten rid of things. I had no choice but to agree since settlement was in 3 days. I was guarranteed I would have my belongings delivered by January 9th. I did not receive them until the end of January. No bed or the majority of my clothes which I needed to start a new job. I exspected North United van lines to deliver my things instead it was an independent contractor who came by himself and we had to help him move my furniture and belongings into the house. My boxes of clothes were damp and moldy. A box of dishes were smashed. The counter weights of my grandfathers clock was smashed (clock was packed by North United) pieces were broken off some of my furniture.

I am in the same boat with this BOGUS & LYING company, however I have not given them the xtra money that they want to EXTORT from me. I suggest filing with all the proper authourities available and contacting the Better Business Bureau in the state of New Jersey If you would like to file a class action law suit against these fraudulent people. I would be more than happy to join in removing them from doing business for good!
