Complaint Review: North Van Lines

I wish I had read your complaint/review about North Van Lines beforehand.  It was only after I was coerced into electronically signing documents and paying monies upfront to them, that I discovered other customers' negative reviews about this company. 

What you have said about North Van Lines is true, and I can testify to that.  They are deceitful, lying, scam artists.  I cancelled their service 2 days after booking with them (Nov 18, 2015) and well before my pick-up date (Jan 4, 2016) and they want to keep half of the deposit for doing absolutely nothing.  What reputable company does that???  This company did NOT provide a service to me but wants to get paid.  This shows a company lacking in integrity and trustworthiness.  Another moving company stated that they are what's known as a "deposit company" meaning, they make money by scamming customers out of their deposits.  Plus, their staff are discourteous and disrespectful to customers. 

In addition, I am in total agreement that they do make threats.  This company retaliates against customers that they have wronged.  Today, (02/22/2016) Meme from their Customer Service Department called my phone and threatened me.

I encourage you and other customers with complaints against North Van Lines to make a report to the State and Local Consumer Agencies in New Jersey.  You can download a complaint form at njconsumeraffairs.gov so the higher authorities can investigate them.  A company like this should not be conducting business.

Obviously this is someone from that crappy a* company.  You are pathetic.  You and I both know that this company is a fraud and has the reputation lower than a used car salesman.  Please advise this company to stop scamming people, gain some intelligence and business acumen, and earn a living the honest way.  I have reached a TON of people about this company so I have accomplished my goal.  All those people can go to h***

I hired North Van Lines to relocate me from PA - CO. The estimate they gave me was very reasonable and affordable. I appreciated the honesty and the information they gave me to help me with my search for the right company. They did a great job with packing and loading. They did an even better job when it came to delivery. I recommend this company to every single person looking to move with a company with out being ripped off. On 02/06/2014, after reading the new responses wishing death on our families, encouraging suicide, racism and terrorist accusations, we have officially involved the authorities and have taken legal action.

As per the instructions by the authority, we are no longer going to respond to this man until further notice.   To all readers, feel free to contact us requesting any information or documents to support any statements posted by North Van Lines, Inc. 

HA HA HA HA I am laughing at you SCAM ARTISTS.  I am not afraid of anything I just don't have the time to drag you to court seeing that you are so pathetic and you may have not made enough scams this month to pay me.  I don't need your money I have PLENTY of it, and it is earned, not stolen from other people because I am too stupid, poor, and uneducated to make my own like you pigs.  You idiots are truly worthless and are worse than dog crap.  I am so sorry that you all are such braindead lowlives and will never amount to anything in life.  You should seriously think about ending your life.  You all are punks and terrorists who have no purpose in life, and your life has no value.  If you ever decide to earn your own money and not steal it, I could use a maid and a lawn maintenance person.  Also, you mentioned that you know where I live and work so I have notified the proper authorities on a local and federal level about the nature of your comments, the history of your terroristic business practices, and you are being watched closely, trust me.  I am not at all intimidated by that comment because you fools are laughable.  If you ever tried to harass me at my home or place of employment, that would not be good for you.  Go crawl back under the rock that I discovered you under.  I hope to one day have the opportunity to spit in your face.

You people are really desperate.  So since I wrote this review you have obvilosuly taken the time to create a fake person with fake documents to try and fool people.  AGAIN< the proof is in the pudding with the reviews from yelp.  Why would a random customer get on here defending you.  Actually, two alleged customers have written rebuttals about how I am wrong and they had good experiences.  That is downright pathetic.  The people at North Van Lines are dangerous criminals like I have said many times before.  And to this alleged customer, how would he/she assume that I had a good experience, just because he/she did?  That is because as mentioned before, North Van Lines flags negative reviews, and makes up good ones to try and fool possible future SCAM victims.  Well joke is on you becuase I know for a fact that my efforts have reached hundreds of people, in which I have made aware of your business practices.  I have reaceived dozens of e-mails of people either telling me they have had similar experiences, or telling me thank you for making them aware.  At leat 5 people have acknowledged that they almost used this SCAM of a company, but did not thanks to the information they received from my mass e-mail blast I did.  So my purpose has been served.  People are aware of the SCAM that this company is putting on, and word of mouth is spreading quickly.  I am very happe about this.  I have nothing else to say to cowards.

I decided to comment about this after I did my move with North van lines. I went online filled out an application and got 20 movers calling me. Out of the 20 movers North and one more, I won't mention, were the top 2 for me.  Before deciding on North and hiring them, I was actually encouraged by my rep to do online research for license, insurance and reputation on all the companies that I am interested in. I did not find one mover with a perfect reputation. 

Actually, there isn't any business in this country that has a perfect reputation online including my business, which is a nail salon. No one can make every one happy so why come down so hard on a mover even though this mover got the best reputation out of many. Before coming across this site, I had already received emails from North and I read every word on it. I have never used a mover before and honestly if it wasn't for North Van Lines I would not have seen this site. This person accusing this company of all this negative stuff, I have a few comments for you.

If in fact you are a customer, you must have received the same info I got from them. On there estimates they actually have all of the charges that may ever apply to some ones move and also the payment process. You spoke about how no other reputable company requires payments the way North does it. False: I have the proof in my mail box and all the movers that have contacted me have all requested a greater deposit of 20% and most requested the rest of the move to be paid at time of pick up. North van lines only asked me for 10% deposit, 70% at pick up, and final balance at delivery and in cash or postal money order only which makes sense to me. If I give them a c/c, they wont have a receipt for me to sign and checks take a few days to clear and from a business prospective it makes sense. 

Also, it was clear in writing that the balance has to be paid prior to unloading. For any one readying this, you can email me and I can send you exactly what north van lines sent me before I hired them excluding my personal information. Honestly, I hired them and so far everything has been great. They have been professional and I paid less then the estimate I got because my stuff took less room. I find this person here to be either a very angry customer that thought he can make changes to a company's policy and failed, a very sick person, or in fact a competitor of this company that is trying to bad mouth them since during my conversations with other companies some did talk bad about others. Reason why they didn't get my business and north did.

Seriously, son I moved with this company and I can show you the papers. I actually had a few other members of my family move with them as well. These people have been great to us and didn't do any of what you said they do. Let bygons be bygons and leave it alone son. It's not worth anyones frustration. LOL we have every right to respond to this review since it is a public review and not a personal email sent to you directly you idiot. We want you to take us to court. Lets do it. This is US responding and we are not afraid of anything you will do. We look forward to your attorney contacting us. That is what we have been requesting since your initial review you coward. This is a public review site available for all and anyone to respond and comment including and not limited to the actual company you are defaming online. You think you can say what ever you want without any consequences. We would love to go to court. We would love that call from your attorney. We would love to know who you are and we look forward to getting that information. I thought you said that people should go with companies affiliated with the BBB?! What happened that made you change your mind all of the sudden? Could it be the facts that we stated about the BBB? YES, we are not accredited with the BBB and still we have a great rating even though we didn’t pay them any money and Mr. Idiot, if we did pay them we would actually have an A+ rating.

You are correct, the BBB is corrupt, which is why your company has a B- instead of an F for Failure, and Fraud!  Why is your company receiving BBB ratings when you are not accredited by them?  Why are you scared to get accredited?  The reviews from the link above clearly state, as I did, that you rebranded from Merit Van Lines, and that you carried over the same fraudulent prcatices.  As for why you are still in business, maybe because you are paying off crooked members of the FBI and state employees.  I repeat, do not send any more messages directed to me or about me. 

This is a formal request demanding for you and all agents affialited with your company, North Van Lines, to immediately CEASE AND DESIST from addressing me formally or informally, through ANY and ALL means of communication including but not limited to consumer rebuttals, all forms of social media, telephone, mail correspondence, etc. 

If you do not comply with this cease and desist demand effective immediately, I am entitled to use your failure to comply as evidence of “willful libel ” and seek monetary damages and equitable relief for your harassment and slander. In the event you fail to meet this demand, please be advised that I will pursue all available legal remedies, including seeking monetary damages, injunctive relief, and an order that you pay court costs and attorney’s fees. Your liability and exposure under such legal action could be considerable.

Hello Mr. Cyber bully. The only coward here is you for not revealing who you are. If we have threatened you or harassed you then, why exactly did you not contact the authority?! Hmmm.. It is so easy to sit behind a screen and type a bunch of lies. You stated that we have not denied any of the accusations in your review although, we have and seems as though along with all the other characteristics you fall under, you also do not know how to read. You don’t want to reveal your self because you fear that we will post your documents online to show what was explained to you not only verbally but also in writing and you signed agreeing to it. You know by us posting those documents, viewers will see how much of a liar you are. You must think we are dumb. Also, you are advising people to go with moving companies registered with the BBB yet the BBB is one of the biggest scams out there that gave “Hammas” terrorists group an A+ rating. Sounds like your company, since we believe you are a competitor, has paid the fee to get that A+ rating and you want consumers to go for your type of business instead of other companies that don’t feel they should pay to get a rating and don’t find it fair for consumers. If you are going to give consumers advice, then I suggest you make sure its good advice, because you are clueless and a scam artist yourself. We are responding to your review and if you don’t want to “waist time” (although it seems that you have nothing better to do) then stop the rebuttal and obsessing over our company. Why do we get referrals from majority of our clients and call ins? I am not a cyber bully, I am just calling you guys out for being scamming idiots.  I have nothing to gain by spending time writing reviews about your scam of a company, I am actualy losing valuable time doing this; however, it is necessary to warn other consumers about your antics.  Very nice try to try and make me out to be a competitor, but you and I both know that is not what this is.  I am just a pissed off consumer warning others about you losers.  No, I will not reveal my identity to you animals for you to harass me and threaten me, as you have done before.  Just realize that people are on to your scam.  I have notified hundreds of people I know and left behind in the northeast, and have had two people e-mail me thanking me for the review, as they almost used your company.  You can threaten to find my IP address and whatever else you feel you need to do, but I as a consumer have the right to post a review of my experience with you sad pathetic creatures.  It's funny because you never denied the practices that I accused you of, and how you hi-jack customer's property until they pay you an absurd amount of money that was not originally agreed upon.  All of you will burn in hell.  Do not send me any further messages,  My review satands, I am not changing anything, and I am not going to go back and forth with you cowards.  If you don't want bad things written about you, you should either leave the moving business, or start doing good honest business, although I know your pathetic lives won't allow you to make an honest living.  So as long as you keep ripping off consumers, you will continue to receive such reviews, and lose potential business, as I have already reached several people to inform them of your scam of a moving company.  That is already at least $5k in scam dollars lost for you, and counting!

Being a cyber bully is a sad thing. You don't want to mention who you are because you know we will be able to expose you for the lying bully you are. Yes, we don't know who you are and we are sure we you are not a client of ours. You are some competitor that is trying to defame our business in order to have less competition. Announce who you are! Maybe you’re the owner of the company that used our name and impersonated our company in order to gain business and got shut down. Tell us who you are and lets look at your documents and what you agreed to by signing. If we really want to find out who you are, we can. IP address is such an easy thing to find. Once we do find out who your, be prepared because for every action there is a reaction. 

 How can you say you are certain that I am not a customer of your's?  First off, why would I just blatantly lie on a business for no apparent reason?  I was definitely a customer of your's, but more like a victim.  I am not giving you my real name because you people have threatened me in the past and are not to be trusted.  I used your services to move to Atlanta and like I stated in my earlier review, I received an initial binding quote for $1200, and after my items were on the truck, your guys shoved a bill in my face for $2800, stating that I took up more cubic feet than originally estimated.  Your company refuses to send someone out to estimate in person, and everything is done over the phone.  The manager, MIMI, is extremely rude and threatens to auction off your belongings if you don't kiss her a**.  Your company requires a 10% down payment before the day of move, and 70% of payment before items are delevered.  I even had to send in a money order for the 70% because I complained about your shady business practices, you all did not want me to use a credit card so that I could not dispute it.  Mimi told me that the owner (Ali) did not trust me to use a credit card and that my only choice was a money order. 

After the delivery illegals came 4 days late, it was an outsourced individual that you guys used to deliver my items, in which he would not take anything off the truck until he had cash in hand.  He also charged me a convenience fee for not being able to park directly in front of the door.  Because I cursed him out and let him know what scum he was, he ordered his minions to dump all of my stuff off in the driveway, and they did not reassmeble any items.  This was the worst experience I have ever encountered.  You and your company are disgusting creatures that are lower than the dirt on my shoes, and you will rot in hell for this.  BTW, everyone knows that you are the former Merit Van Lines fromClifton , NJ.    Do not respond to me, I have no desire to converse with you, I just want everyone to know how stupid and shady you animals are.  Lower than swine!

North Van Lines, Inc. appreciates all clients’ feedback regarding our services and encourages our clients to express their opinion to help better our company. However, we believe that this review is not from any of our clients for the following reasons. We do not have any clients that recently moved to or from Atlanta, GA. The name provided is fake. The information stated is inaccurate and has never happened. Our clients have full control over the price of the move and we do not render any services that may result in an additional cost without client’s authorization. We do not load then give the price. The price is determined prior to loading. We hardly have any damages and our claims department can prove that. We have always been North Van Lines, Inc. Only.  No mover is obligated to register with the BBB in order to PAY for a good rating. We have a great rating without registering. BBB gives A+ to any one willing to pay. Most importantly, we were not aware of this review until today, January 22, 2014, when we received an email from ripoffreport asking for $2000.00 in order to remove this review.

In conclusion, we would love to know who is this person and if in fact this is a customer, we would like the opportunity to change your opinion of us. Although, we are positive this is not a customer of North Van Lines, Inc., we would like to see this so called threatening email since we are positive no threatening emails were sent to this person after this review was posted since we only found out about it today. To the person that wrote this review, please do contact us or at least let us know who you are. We believe that is either a competitor trying to defame our name in order to gain business or some one from this site since review sites do have sponsors that write reviews in order to gain funds from removing those reviews. That is how free review sites make money. More information on that note can be found via online search.
