Complaint Review: Northcentral University - NCU

I am a new NCU student, and I'd like to share my experience with all perspective learners and others at NCU.

2 weeks after sending my transcripts to NCU, I contacted NCU Admissions to see whether the school had received them. From here the nightmare began. At first, David in Admissions office, stated many false things to me. (For instance, I live in the US, and he would state that my address is from country X). I exhausted clarifying every fact with him. After a long, confused, and exhausting conversation, he transferred me to Joshua Dwyner, in Registrar office.

Josh was not any better than David. Once again, he stated incorrect information in my application, and again I had to correct everything with him. At the end of the conversation, he requested for my professional resume, which was sent to him immediately.

It took Josh 5 business days, just to confirm that he had my resume (???). I patiently waited and waited for another 10 business days just to receive another email from him indicating that he forwarded my incomplete application to Diane Mark.

How did I know the application was incomplete? Diane Mark contacted me and asked me to send in my transcripts! After several emails back and forth about my transcripts with Diane (and it didn't get anywhere), I called the school and requested to speak to an enrollment or admission director. I was transfered to Scott, who was Diane's boss. He finally took care of the situation. From that experience, everytime I contacted NCU for whatever reason, I always closed my eyes and prayed God that they wouldn't mistake my file, my information again.

I am not stating NCU is a bad school, however, I was shock and terrified with the way these 3 individuals (David, Josh, and Diane) worked. Why didn't they want to do the job right? Where was their enthusiasim to see someone bringing business to the school? Did it just happen to me because of discrimination (I'm Asian), jealousy (that another person wants to pursue higher degree), or boredome (don't care about the job)? Whatever the reason was, I was unhappy and was not impressed at all.

To David, Josh, and Diane, my application obviously was just another student's application - yeah, what a big deal - but to me, that was the start of my path to my own dream - the dream that one day I will receive my degree from NCU.

I hope the Director, the Dean, or the school President happens to read my message. NCU is a school of business, and how many students NCU will lose if I share this experience with colleagues, friends, and other online perspective learners?

I just started the program. I study really hard so I don't worry much about the courses or workload or interaction with mentors. What I concern is that I hope they don't make anymore mistake with my file in the system.
