Norther Arizona Center for Addiction AKA Promises Unethical Management - Unethical treatment of clients - high acuity clients that aren’t cared for properly - kickbacks to past clients for referring clients
This treatment facility said whatever they could to get me to come to treatment. They said they would fly me out and then fly me home if I wanted to leave. They refused to get me a ticket unless I committed to 30 days. Then I found out that if someone leaves in the first week, the person who got me there doesn’t get paid for me being there. So that’s the person who talked me into staying. How awful...all for money. The had 3 girls in one tiny bedroom. They had too many of us in one van where girls were sitting on the floor in the vehicle, that has got to be a liability. They advertise that they do healing modalities and they take you to this offensive yoga class; they don’t have any trauma specialists like I needed. If you look at their website they don’t have any therapists on there because I heard they always quit cuz it’s so awful. I did know one female therapist who was older, but she left. It’s so sad. I want help and they want money. That’s all they care about. If they care, they would be making everyone feel safe. There were clients there that clearly needed other types of help. And that scared me too. It was an awful experience.
