Negligent Management & Luxury Apartment Cost for Trailer Park Treatment .....
Since late Saturday night June 22 or early Sunday morning June 23, 2002, the central air-conditioner has not worked in my apartment #527, nor the apartment next door #517. On Sunday morning both Mrs. Mimi (next door neighbor) and I, began requesting air-conditioning service. The temps outside have ranged on average from the low 90's, to low 100's during the day. I am in a unit upstairs and it feels even hotter. I missed work on Monday anticipating service and accommodating my out of town guest. Repeated requests of management to provide accommodations have been rejected. It is my obligation to notify all worried about the inhumane conditions that exist in these units, and the poor response from Northern Crossing Management.
These kinds of conditions kill people, and Northern Crossings should be held liable for any and all adverse results that occur from their managerial decisions. I have notified management that the fans that were provided are not adequate to combat against the heat, & requested either window air conditioning units, or hotel accommodations. Both requests have been denied. I am extremely disappointed with the timeliness of response, and treatment of this property's management. The decisions to allow these conditions to exist in luxury apartments are merciless at least, and potentially criminal. I am wise enough at this point to move to a hotel on my on dollar. However, I remain extremely concerned about the elderly couple that resides next door. Request assistance from all who are able to assist in rectifying this concern.
