Northern Leasing promised to provide our company with check cashing machines to eliminate the hassle of returned checks. A rental fee of 22.00 per our five locations per month. Checks went through the machine, and we were charged back with accounts closed or other checks their service was not able to collect. The agreement was if they went through the machines we would receive the check amount and any returns they would collect.

The lease agreement was setup with direct payment for the machine from our checking account. Northern leasing started to pull out non collected checks and fees without notification to our company. We sent cancellation notifications per location stateing they didnot honor what was promised. Northern Leasing continued to pull funds from our account after cancellation notice and the return of the machines.

All our locations received 15 to 25 calls a day stating we owed them money. We had to add a feature to our exiting phone service to block their calls. They used four different phone numbers. Sometimes when we answer the phone they would hang up or give a automated speach.
Our company called Northern Leasing to let them know we returned the machines and wished the calls to stop. Northern Leasing said it was a lease agreement and it didn't matter what our stance was we still owed the Lease.
