Complaint Review: Northern Leasing

When I opened a business checking account at Chase Bank for my business, they suggested that I lease a credit card machine. Next thing I know I am signing a contract that I was told was one year. A year latter I closed my business do to my husbands relocation for work. I called Northern Leasing to make sure I have loose ends tied up. That was when I informed I had a 3 year lease. I was told either pay over 900 dollars, or pay the remaining 2 years and the machine would belong to me. I paid the next two years; I notice that even though I should be done with my lease they are still debiting my account. I called and called and no one picks up the phone. Finally I get through and I am told that unless I pay them over 200 dollars they are going to charge me indefinitely. I was never told I would have to pay to end my lease. That is ridiculous! Highway robbery! unethical! I have paid the three years and 3 months for a machine that is not worth 100 dollars.
